Very friendly and welcoming cafe. All foods taste amazing especially the double cooked sea salted chips and bacon sandwich too. Dogs are allowed inside the cafe which is always nice. Prices were good too.

Four of us visited here today for lunch. It cost us £42 for two burgers and chips and two sandwiches and chips, a bottle of water and two hot chocolates and a coke. We then waited over 40 minutes for our food which was awful....More

Hi there Lizzie, I wasn't going to respond to your 'review' (or work of fiction, whichever you prefer) because the sheer pettiness & dishonesty of it doesn't deserve my time. But I'm bored, so I'll entertain you for one moment. Firstly, yes, that's how much...More

I visited with my wife and 2 small children. One of my children knocked over her drink. The owner straight away helped clear it up and replaced the drink free of charge, no questions asked. Nothing was too much trouble and she was so welcoming...More

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your kind review :) I remember your family well as your children were delightful & that always sticks in my mind. We are proud of our cream teas, the scones are homemade & you can't beat clotted cream! But the...More

This cafe now allows dogs inside, about time too. The previous two proprietors didn't, God rot them. Excellent soup and sandwiches, didn't try anything else but it looked delish. Service not greased lightning. If it ever stops raining in Cornwall one can sit outside on...More

Thanks for your review :) Honestly, having dogs in the café is like a kind of therapy for all of us so they are always welcome & although we try to go as fast we can there are definitely days we could be faster, so...More

£3 for a flapjack is profiteering especially when the Cornish pastie cafe up the road in Tintagel sells them for 90p Good coffee and hot chocolate though but don’t like being ripped offMore

£3 for large slabs of homemade flapjack using Cornish butter totally pays for our numerous yachts & second homes scattered about the globe. Perhaps the pasty shop in Tintagel doesn't want those? Who knows. Or perhaps it doesn't pay for those things at all &...More

My wife and I decided to have lunch here on our last full day in Cornwall. The burger (home made) was cooked to perfection and the mushroom soup (a unique dish for the Easter weekend) was delicious. Topped off with a large slice of chocolate...More

We stopped off at Trebarwith Strand on our way into Cornwall. We had carrot cake and lovely loose leaf Earl Grey tea. We sat outside at a table and watched the waves crashing onto the rocks. It was wonderful.More

Thank you for your review, we are very lucky to have the view we do from the terrace & often sneak out ourselves to take it in. The carrot cake is very popular & I'll let you into a little secret (no-one reads these, right?),...More

Description
A small but busy family run cafe right beside Trebarwith Strand. Bright and airy with plenty of outdoor seating we have a menu that goes from simple beans on toast for the small people to halloumi & couscous salad dressed with pomegranate molasses or our sickeningly healthy Allotment sandwich. All the cakes are baked from scratch in our kitchen and are decadently naughty. Good quality tea's, tasty coffee, chunky homemade scones and the best hot chocolate for miles. Dog, vaper and child friendly we should have something tempting for even the most fickle of eaters. Open all year round with special food-based events posted to our facebook page.
