We have stayed several times times now; the rooms are clean and well appointed, the pub/restaurant is welcoming, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the food is great.

Been a couple of times, food is consistently good! I’d recommend booking as even on a weekday lunch this is a popular spot. We had the cheese and onion pie with beans & chips, the pie a perfect texture & a huge portion. My parents...More

Went here after being talked into it for a while. I don’t usually go for these pub type food places that mix eating with people standing at the bars drinking. That said the decor inside is lovely and it has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. I...More

Food was ok but very pricey for pub food. Not sure I was keen on the waitresses hanging around. Need to lower prices and loose the waitresses,

Just called in here for a quick drink and really like the place. Reasonable price drinks and the staff are a credit to the Buisiness. Well recommended 😎👍

The Waggon is central in the village which is not that big but has many bars and eateries. You can try Rioja, Muse, Java, Shalimar, Hare and Hound and more. You cannot go wrong . Enjoy. Alan

A delightful 19th Century coaching inn with a comfortable lounge, bar and dining area. The inn has recently undergone a huge refurbishment to bring the building back to life. Local produce and a lovely setting are the hallmarks of The Waggon Inn; with all our food sourced locally.
