Red Cave was recommended by Patricia, our B&B host, and we were delighted to find excellent food and great service at Red Cave. The food was second to none and staff were friendly and polite. I would suggest Red Cave to anyone visiting Petra!

we were huuungry after over 20km wal through Petra. We liked the invite: bedoin food. Prices are not on the budget, but they were not that much different from other restaurants. In Jordan if you want cheap food, that is street food, not restaurants. the food we ordered, was really tasty. I recommend it.

If you're staying near the Petra entrance this is a really good choice for the evening. My brother and I ate there twice during our 4 night stay, we liked it much better than the hotel dinner that cost twice as much.

Until the bill came, we were having a great time. The food was good, the servers were friendly, the ambience was attractive. Then we realized that the food was going to cost 65 Jordanian dinars, which is equivalent to almost 100 USD. This for a family of four that didn't order anything fancier than chicken sandwiches (there was also no... More

We came for some local food, but got small, blunt unsatisfying portions. It seemed the food was overpriced, when tasted like store bought ready food.

Found this cute restaurant as we came out of Petra. We went back for a drink and wanted to eat, but just couldn't because of all the smoking.

We had tea with baklava on our first afternoon in Petra and returned the next day for lunch. The shawarma was excellent and (to our surprise) we had crispy french fries. The shish tawouk was also very good. The next day we returned for falafel and shawarma. Again, great food. The wifi works just fine, the staff is friendly and... More

After walking miles and miles in Petra, We walked the 2 blocks from the entrance and found this gem. A prefect choice! Great food with even better service all with a fair price. Ask about their "candle light" Dinner.....
