I have lived in nw Arkansas for over 20 years and people always rave about Neals. Finally got around to going and it will probably be another 20 before I try it again. They claim best fried chicken around. It was dry and had little flavor. The side were bad. The brown beans were cold. The okra was barely fried... More

I've been going to Neal's Cafe literally all my life, and I have not ever been disappointed. The food has naturally changed over the years as cooks come and go, but it remains high quality southern home cooking. Just look for the pink building on Highway 71 / Thompson in Springdale!

Food is always good -- like home cooking; chicken & dumplings, meat loaf, etc. I think the prices are a little high. Good place for family gathering.

We met friends and Neal's for lunch. I can not say enough about the home cooked food we received. And the pies are all homecooked and outstanding. We were service two pieces of sample pie!!! They were 2 full slices of Blueberry nut and Coconut cream. Ate 3/4 of coconut before my lunch was served. Had chicken fried chicken plate... More

Excellent Service from the staff. Can't emphasise that enough! The breakfast menu is excellent, nothing fancy but all great. The lunch menu is really good too, with daily specials and don't forget to try their home made deserts! Yummy!

The outside looks like a Diner, the inside looks like a Lodge complete with dual fireplaces, arrowhead art and taxidermy. The heavy wood tables and a mom & pop atmosphere make this a neat stop for anyone who loves home cookin'! The fire was just right and the food was awesome! My family ordered liver & onions, catfish and chicken... More

They offer 1 filet 2 filets or all you can eat. I went with 2 other guys who can all eat. The 2 filet meal is plenty! They are big filets and the sides are very filling. I recommend the fried jalapeño and mashed potatoes with white gravy.

Excellent food, good home cooking, good variety on the menu. Service is fast and friendly. Place is very busy at lunch; they handle the crowd well. I am in Springdale 30 to 40+ days a year, I eat at Neal's at least once or twice on every trip. My local customers are always happy to go to Neal's. I've never... More

My wife and I wanted some southern style home cooked food, so we decided to go to Neal's early one Saturday evening. We have been to Neal's several times over multiple decades, but hadn't been there for a while and thought we'd try it again. Both of us had chicken fried steak, brown beans, and mashed potatoes, and of course... More

Tastes like a good home cooked meal, with large portions. Little pricey though. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Decorated with antiques, and wild life.
