Excellent food, good home cooking, good variety on the menu. Service is fast and friendly. Place is very busy at lunch; they handle the crowd well. I am in Springdale 30 to 40+ days a year, I eat at Neal's at least once or twice on every trip. My local customers are always happy to go to Neal's. I've never... More

My wife and I wanted some southern style home cooked food, so we decided to go to Neal's early one Saturday evening. We have been to Neal's several times over multiple decades, but hadn't been there for a while and thought we'd try it again. Both of us had chicken fried steak, brown beans, and mashed potatoes, and of course... More

Tastes like a good home cooked meal, with large portions. Little pricey though. Great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Decorated with antiques, and wild life.

Great food but prices are high. Very expensive for lunch but you do get a lot of food. If you decide to visit Neal's try the catfish.

Great service, great meal selection, generous servings, great taste. The waitress couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

Service was excellent! A group Of 16 showed up around 11:30. We were seated together and served in very short order. Orders were varied my chicken strip plate was excellent. Too much for one person. Good meal, good service!

Neal's cafe is an original American diner. Vintage ambiance highlighted by the neon road sign and original interior. It has been well maintained and deliberately kept true to its original style. The wait staff feel like family and the cooking tastes like your grandma made it. I've never eaten fried chicken that tasted exactly like my family recipe in a... More

I asked around for the place where all of the local folks ate lunch. Springdale resident raved about the food here so gave it a try at lunch. Pros: Fried catfish was good. Ranch salad dressing wasn't standard out-of-the bottle and had good flavor. Neutral: Brown beans and steamed broccoli were average. Cons: Price was high for lunch plate. Cornbread... More

We stopped here for dinner while passing through. We try to avoid the chain restaurants when we travel and like to see what the locals prefer. Neal's had good reviews, so we gave it a shot. The food was great, the staff was very friendly and service was very good.

I had read all the reviews on how great this place is. We were passing thru Springdale a couple of weeks ago and was craving chicken. I said I have read many great reviews on this place so we googled it and finally found it. We ordered the 3 pc chicken dinner. It sounded yummy. When we got our order... More
