This KSTDC hotel is situated conveniently close to the Archeological Museum, The Vithala Temple, the Virupaksha Temple and other major sites. It is about 12 to 15 kms from Hospet Railway station ( Bargain for an auto @ Rs 150 from station to hotel ) . The rooms are comfortable but the maintanence and room service could be better. The... Well, not the best place to have breakfast or dinner - but considering that Hampi, in general, has very few places which offer good food, this place may not be a bad idea. For lunch, they have a vegetarian buffet spread and that is definitely decent.

We stayed here for three days and had all three meals here. Tried various items on the menu and very consistently, all the gravy tasted exactly the same. Hampi does not have too many options for restaurants and if you want to play safe on hygiene and fresh food, this is the right choice. Looking for taste, skip. This place... More

The best location in Hampi. The sprawling garden to spend the evening. It is run by typical Govt employees. They are not bothered about the guest, they get the salary at end of the day. The staffs are unfriendly and not ready to help you. The food is horrible.

Unfriendly staff and tasteless food spoil your experience at this restaurant located close to the ruins of Hampi. I have had multiple experiences at this place, and to summarize, not even one of them is good!

This review is only for the restaurant. Don't go by the menu. Out of 10, only 4 non-veg curries were available to choose from. Staff needs hospitality training. Felt as if we were going to have feast on freebies. Make sure you order at one go coz initially we asked for 8 chapatis and within next 5-6 mins we ordered... More

Though one may not want to stay at this place being a little far from Hampi centre market area(4 kms) we chose this place as wanted a serene spacious stay. The resort is nicely spread out for walks. There is a cosy central dining area full of lamps and plants. The ambiance is quite minimalistic but the service and food... More

This Hotel is a property of Karnataka Tourism and the closest habitable place to the ruins of Hampi. The restaurant is outsourced to a contractor who offers rather pedestrian food. It is more famous as a watering hole for local politicos and civil servants !!

Went for lunch to Mayura Bhuvaneshwari hotel. There is only one waiter - extremely old who takes orders and serves food, gets the bill etc. Ordered a ghee rice for my husband - who is a vegetarian. It came with a gravy - and within the first few bites, my husband found bones in his food. The waiter was called... More

Popular place during lunch as a decent buffet is available. Options of Ala carte is available as also Non -vegetarian and beer. Service tends to get erratic due to crowds thronging the place during lunch,
