I had a late lunch here while touring the area. They were open at 3 pm when we were ready to eat. We started with Greek salads, which were good. I had a whole fish that was fresh and well prepared. They had a good Greek red wine by the bottle that was well priced. Overall it was what we... More

We arrived by chance in this small taverna walking the streets of downtown. We ordered a vegetarian dinner with Gemistà (a tomato and a pepper stuffed with rice and baked), a salad, gigantes beans and excellent fresh fries. Rosé wine on tap to forget. Taverna pretty touristy, but overall not excessively. positive experience, with a fast and friendly service staff... More

This was our first Nafplio restaurant, and while the weather forced us inside, the staff made up for it. It was a nice mix of locals and mostly English tourists. I would rate the good as on par with most of the other restaurants, maybe slightly above. Sometimes though, staff going above can push the experience up a level. The... More

We read all the good comments and were looking forward to eat there. However, the food did not match our expectations at all: the grilled octopus I had had the texture of a rubber sole and the vine leaves my partner ate were bitter and in a floury white sauce. Service was ok, but not as friendly as in other... More

I am a greek american and was visiting this past sept with my parents and in laws and found that this was some of the best traditional food we had on our entire trip. The pastichio is simply the best patstichio I have ever had. Every thing was amazing!

Great food and friendly service at this popular taverna in one of the many quaint alley ways in Nafplio. Very good value for money. Recommended.

Very nice dinner with good Greek food. Good service but do be aware that your lady may fall in love with the waiter.

Located in small street, most of the seating is outside. Great authentic food, very friendly service. Started with appetizers, moved on slowly to main dishes. Try tsiziki, this is a must in Greece. Sardines are good. Meat plate was excellent. Get local beer. Mythos is the best one here.

We ate here three years ago on or last visit to Napflio as it was recommended in a guide book. Wasn't disappointed then and wasn't this time either. My wife enjoyed her Briam - often her vegetables choice in Greece - and I had an excellent rabbit stifado - the meat just fell off the bone. Nice atmosphere and friendly... More

In a small street, nice location. Portions were small, no taste at all, waiters grumpy. Price as other tavernas, but quality was worse.
