We were eight persons having lunch outside of the restaurant and the meal was fine. All different courses were nicely served and good. Everybody in our group were happy and enjoying the lunch fully. Service is fast and the personel nice.

My husband came across La Fonda while walking through Pollenca in the evening. What a treat! Fantastic service with a smile especially from a lovely lady (think her husband was the chef. My husband went for the Special La Fonda paella which was amazing. Delicious and piping hot. Would definitely recommend. Thank you La Fonda.

We had a very enjoyable evening at this centrally situated restaurant. My husband and I both had paella – good. My mother had grilled hake – perfectly cooked but the portion was too large! Lovely romantic situation in the street. Good service. Will go again next time we’re there.

Wonderful eating experience guaranteed whether you dine in the lane or indoors. Great ambience. Service with flair - though one young waiter needs a bit more time in the trade. I am sure he will enhance his customer care in due course. Abrupt manner. Traditional Majorcan food served here. Fish in salt a speciality. All seafood dishes are superb, as... More

We were recommended la Fonda from a friend and we finally got a table. Great location in a tight little Majorcan street with great food and service. We can recommend lamb chops with garlic and lamb shoulder. Very good quality grub at medium prices.

We ate here twice on our recent (Sept 2016) visit to Pollenca. Loved the atmosphere, location, food was excellent and the service very good. On our first visit we enjoyed an excellent paella, on the second my husband had the lamb (be warned its a very generous helping) and I had a very good grilled sea bass. For starters on... More

Required booking as it was always pretty busy. A pleasant outside venue, good menu choices for food and wine, good starters and well prepared main courses all very tasty. Attentive and friendly service, will definitely be visiting again on next visit to Pollença.

I have a home locally, and always head for La Fonda for tapas lunch when we arrive from the UK. Their tapas is clearly freshly made by hand with care, bursting with flavours. We have had dinner here too, and can not fault the quality. Located one lane from the busy square, it's perfectly situated for a quieter, authentic (non-touristy)... More

We visited La Fonda on a Sunday night. We had intended to go to Spira but found that it was closed and so this was our plan B. Although the sun was setting, the sun shades were still in situ above the outside tables which was a shame as one of the pleasures of this restaurant is seeing the sky... More

We dined here on the last day of our holiday. There are lots of restaurants in Pollenca and they are not cheap however this looked nice and the menu gave lots of choice. But the food was shockingly bad for the prices we paid. My daughter had the duck with a sauce so sweet it should have been on pancakes,... More
