Over they years we have visited this place, Peet's maintains its standards since it opened. It's ambience is good and the food very nice too. We like eating here a lot.

I might have grudgingly given this place 3* if the manageress (?) had been less keen to get us out the door but, as she confirmed in a voice that could be heard at the other side of the room, it had been 'a long...More

Group of three hungry and thirsty fisherman. Even though we were not dressed the best we still fitted in fine. The staff are very friendly, with big smiles all round. Tasty Sky beers and whiskys. The mussels as the starter were very well done, not...More

Very pleasantly surprised by how nice the layout was, spacious and airy, staff were great and the food excellent. We had pre-ordered in a large group and it all came out together.

We had not booked a table but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Everything on the menu sounded good. I had the goats cheese to start which was perfectly cooked and venison casserole and amazing chunky chips for main. The portions were huge and...More

Excellent food - we especially enjoyed the sea-food: scallops, langoustine, mussels, fish. Good value.

This establishment has maintained its standards for good and varied dishes at a fair price. The wine was rather ordinary, but there were other drinks on offer. Highly recommended!

A group of us arrived for a lunchtime snack. Tea, souo and lemon cake. The pot of tea was half filled. The soup was tepid and the lemon cake was hard. Flavour wise the food was delicious and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The food, by and large was fine, as was the service in this rather soulless restaurant. However, my attempt, at the end of the meal to point out, non-aggressively, the fact that we had been served with the wrong version of the starter we ordered,...More

Ordered fish and chips, when food arrived it was very greasy! Obviously the oil was not at the correct temperature, which resulted in the fish and chips absorbing all the fat. The fish had absolutely no flavour, was expecting very fresh tasting fish, but was...More

Don’t think so unless you’re at one of the outside tables - on a warm day. It’s more of a restaurant than a cafe so I wouldn’t feel comfortable with dogs around in a restaurant when I’m in for a meal.
