Can't rate the food, service and ambiance enough 👍. Thoroughly recommend for dinner. Would advise to book in advance as fills up very quickly. We were fortunate to get a table.

The scallops and langoustine were the best we’ve had on our trip including those from Delilah’s the night before. Service was better also
We had been here on a previous visit a few years ago just after they opened and it is obviously still popular as it seemed full when we turned up for our booking. Front of house staff were attentive and friendly, but we waited a...long time for our food. My husband's fried haddock looked magnificent, but the chips were tasteless (frozen?) and he describes his meal as "average- certainly not yummy". I had ordered the 'Peet burger' and you could have soled an army boot with both the patty and the bun. I ate it because I had waited so long I was starving but really Peet - your eye is off the ball with the food and the place looks pretty tired. Sadly, we won't be back.More
Such a fab restaurant - food is always absolutely spot on - very very fresh and cooked perfectly. Elaine and all the staff are all very friendly and extremely hard working - an absolute credit to this restaurant . Keep up the great work -...can’t wait to see you next year xMore
I was most impressed with Peet's on many levels. Arriving in Lochinver on a Saturday evening, we ordered a takeaway which many family members said was fantastic (judging by the empty plates, they were right). We also discovered my mother had forgotten to pack her...insulin needles which was incredibly stressful, a member of the team at Peet's helped us to arrange emergency support, averting a very stressful situation. My husband and I dinned there later on in the week on our own and the food was superb. I had a pan fried salmon, which was huge and delicious ( i don't think spoke for about 20 mins due to being so engrossed in my food). The best i have ever had and I've eaten in a few well regarded restaurants. I found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality and loved that I could have good food without having to dress up. We look forward to returning on our next visit to Lochinver.More
After reading the reviews for this restaurant all are pretty positive. We must of gone on a bad day. The food is average and expensive. My husband ordered the langoustines. They came cold on a limp looking bit of salad on his plate. It doesn't...state on the menu that they are cold I think it should state this. My daughter had the mussels which did look very good. Fresh and there were plenty of them.. I ordered the beef burger which was ok, nothing special.. the decor on the outside is lovely and gives you a really good first impression of the place. but this doesn't continue on the inside.. the decor on the inside is unusual and looks a bit tired. Very mismatched. not in keeping with the outside at all. We were disappointed and would not go again. Which is a shame. Looking at reviews from about a year ago it looks very different to the experience we had.More
We had a fantastic meal here during our stay in Lochinver! The langoustines and smoked haddock starters were incredible, and our mains (burger and version sausages and mash) were delicious. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back to...Peets!More
Looked forward to visiting again after great food on the takeaway menu last year. Takeaway menu seemed much reduced this year with very basic fare only, staff really busy and there was only one takeaway menu. I ordered and ordered a pint to drink whilst...waiting. This is where it went downhill a bit. Stroppy senior chap (Peet himself?!) grumbled about “not being happy” if I broke his parasol, which I was trying to put up as it was pouring with rain. Wish I hadn’t bothered spending the extra on the pint and went for a walk instead! Sat there getting wet instead he came over and said about kicking the weight to him and he eventually installed the parasol. Already set by then. Then without much of a word he brought out the food order. Would I rush back next time? Probably not. I would try the other restaurant. Would I buy a drink there again? Not really. Shame as the ladies are all friendly and very helpful under pressure but I don’t have time to waste on the rudeness shown by senior Peet. I might go back again at some point but I’m in no rush. A point deducted for this chap and a point for limited takeaway options. Food, other staff etc lovely.More
We had lunch af Peet's whilst on holiday. The fish and chips were absolutely delicious. Friendly service if a little slow at times. The toilet could do with updating as it is clean but has rusty equipment in. We really enjoyed the food, it was...excellent quality which could have made this place snooty, it definitely wasn't.More
We booked diner at 8.45 pm. However after one hour they started cleaning the restaurant, putting out the music, we felt unwanted. They also forget to bring us our second round of drinks. Food OK, but service was poor.
Visited Peets this evening with my husband and 2 children. The service was lovely and welcoming and the food was exquisite. I had the catch of the day which was monkfish. It was cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious! Rib eye steak for my husband and...my 2 children had the kids pizzas which were absolutely delicious. While we were waiting on our meals we saw one of the local fishermen delivering freshly caught lobsters and langoustines to the kitchen. My children were fascinated! We walked over to the door to see them being delivered and we were invited to go outside; the fisherman was lovely with my boys!! I’m hoping we’ll be back in Lochinver one day!!More
What a fantastic place. Despite being short staffed the service was great and the food was amazing. We were doing the NC500 trip in our campervan and decided to treat ourselves, Peets did not disappoint. Good selection on the menu and very well presented and...cooked food. Was lovely to meet Ruth and David and they were so friendly. Thank you.More
Peets is a busy diner and booking is essential in the season. On both occasion when I was there they had (before 7pm) run out of Catch of the day and Steak. No fresh vegetables are available. The staff are delightful and work incredibly hard,...but it is distracting to watch them having to run to stand still. This restaurant, along with one other has a monopoly in Lochinver (which is very popular from May onwards in the season). I am certain they could achieve a much higher standard both in cooking and service - without having to increase prices from what are fairly steep charges already.More
I’m not sure why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars ⭐️. Me and my girlfriend went for camping trip and on last day decided to treat ourselves to nice dinner and Peet’s was perfect choice!! Ladies and one gent working that evening...were brilliant and very attentive. When it comes to food it just blew my mind. Macrel pâté for start was so good we tried not to lick a plate 🫣. My partner had seafood platter and I had half lobster ( special of the day) . I could not believe how big the lobster was !!! We couldn’t even crack claw, ladies quickly attended and got chefs to do that for us. Dressing for lobster was amazing . Very good price too for what we had. Thanks Peet’s team 🥰More
What a great find. We drove to Assynt with our dogs and called into Lochinver for lunch. We hadn’t eaten here before. There is plenty of parking. The welcome was friendly and the service was attentive. My wife had hummus , peppers and salad. I...had some spectacular langoustines with a tasty dressing and salad. We had soft drinks then finished with coffee. The price was very reasonable. Good toilet facilities too. Definitely worth a revisitMore
