The restaurant is very very very cheap, but too much so already - the quality of the ingredients in the daily menu wasn't anything special (obviously) and the tastes were bland. It's still exellent value, but nothing to hype over. Id suggest doubling the price and doubling the quality.

We walked 4 blocks southwest of the main plaza to find this simple clean restaurant. The street gate opened directly to 7 small tables with 5 chairs each and people sitting together with lots of turnover. We were handed a slip of paper to write down our table # and the 7 choices of the 9 wall-posted offerings; all for... More

Had the set menu here 2 days in a row. Simple restaurant, but don't let it fool you. The ladies cook up a variety of very delicious vegetarian food. Our best veggie experience in South America so far. And a set menu for 2 people for only 11-12000 pesos in total, that's nothing!! If you're in Popayan, you must try... More

This place is not fancy. Not the place for a romantic dinner either. The food is good. Simple local dishes made in a mostly vegan way. It's yummy, but nothing to get overly excited about. I give this place 5 stars for being the only veg place in town, for the super friendly lady that runs it and for the... More

This place is amazing. It's been a while that I've been there, but I remember paying about 7.000 COP and receiving the greatest amounts of food back. Out of their menu I was able to chose for seven 'dishes' that could be dessert, soups, rice, vegetables, drinks, you name it. This was definitely satisfying as the rest of my day... More

I spent nine days in Popayan and ate here at least a dozen times. Every day there are nine to ten items listed on a fixed menu. You are allowed to choose seven of them. Being a vegan I never had a problen finding six to seven vegan options. The food is good and the service is wonderful. The owner... More

The staff offered us to just try a bit from everything in a 3 course menu for only 4000 pesos. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

We were a bit late coming to eat here and so were alone. Starting before 7pm would be a good idea. The sancocho is very good and there is plenty of it. The mixed salad was well made and dressed. There is a range of drinks - we had pineapple with honey. The cost was very low compared with a... More
