Came here for lunch with my dad. I had the lamb burger- DELISH! Dad had the mussels, also v tasty. Portions were perfect, service was super friendly and fire was lit- proper job. Cheers 😁

Going out of season, this is a very friendly pub, good selection of beers and gins (spotlighted on the shelf), real fire, lovely friendly locals, dogs welcome - couldn't have had a better local for our stay.

A wonderful experience with such friendly staff and superb food. The fresh oysters were divine, as well as the fresh fish options- cooked to perfection. Will definitely return.

Suberb position and very good food served in the pub atmosphere with many locals which made the experience as a visitor very good with lovely memories of a lovely stay in Newton Ferriers all the way from Yorkshire. Unspoilt area.

visited to try their sunday roast. cost of £12.95. I had lamb and others had beef. vegetables arrived in separate dishes. The best pub roast that I have had...delicious. The lamb just melted in the mouth and was well seasoned. Well done!
