Average food and service; not anything to "write home about". Had heard so much about what a great place with awesome food but from when I ate there about 5 years ago it has gone down hill considerably.

Good food, good service, good prices, large portions, friendly staff. What else could you ask for? We have never been dispointed. EVER!

My coworker and I stopped here for breakfast one morning based on the reviews here from TripAdvisor and the food was spectacular. The reviews are accurate and the rating is earned. The one thing that amazes me about this place is the port size. YOU NEED TO BE HUNGRY! In fact you need to be training for an event such... More

You probably won't find this little gem unless you are a local. It is a favorite meeting place for friends who have come once a week or more for years. The tables are fun to read, and there is an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage, cowboy, kitsch, and more. We were there for breakfast. The food was o.k., and the... More

First off... you must go hungry. There is a lot of food. I think this eateries purpose is for the hard working farmers and industrial workers in the area. Ones that can burn off all the calories and still survive. It was very crowded at noon on a Friday but we were seated with 6 to 8 minutes. Was told... More

Another one of those great small town mom and pop cafe's that I search the countryside for. Super service, huge servings, so we usually split an order, great home cooking, what more do you need? It's a small place, only open mornings till 2:00, and usually there will be a wait. The counter is non reserve, so for 2 people,... More

Googled to see what would be the best place for breakfast on our trip from Tehachapi heading northbound. Have to say this was definitely worth the stop.... EXCELLENT food!

My chili is the most requested dish by my millennial kids and their friends. Cope's chili is better than mine! Packs a heat that keeps me scooping another spoonful in my mouth!

Had lunch; open face turkey with mashed potatoes. They serve real sliced turkey breast and real mashed potatoes. Huge portions and great food. I'd definitely come back for lunch or breakfast next time I'm in town. Salads looked good as well.

Local favorite in the" Dale". Large portions(possibly split) comfort food. You will wait during regular hours as this place is very popular
