This restaurant reminded me of NYC, my home city. Great food, good service, cool atmosphere, overall just a really good place to dine.

On the smaller side and tables are close together but everyone seems to be well taken care and our waiter was excellent, attentive and helpful and he was supported by 3-4 others taking care of water, bread, bussing, and so on. We were two couples and shared two orders of pasta, both of which were excellent and the portion as... More

Excellent meal and great service at this neighborhood restaurant. Wine list is adequate and the servers are very knowledgable. Gluten free pasta is also available-and tasted great. Deserts are yummy. Highly recommended, and definitely make a reservation. There is also seating at the bar area and chef's counter (which is always fun)

We did not have reservations but we were able to eat at the bar. I wasn't able to sense anything Italian about the food, although it was delicious. This is not their fault but mine - having misplaced my glasses, I ordered the chicken without being able to read the descriptions on the menu. It was delicious, cooked in butter,... More

We usually go to eat at this place every other week. Love their Branzino fish with potatoes on side and Excellent house made pastas with notable wine list . Lots of good Italian wines on the list . Great and friendly service in the cozy setting .

Corso offers a wide selection of wines, mostly from Italy and many available by the glass, half-glass, or carafe. I had olives as an appetizer; they were served warm, which surprised me, but were excellent. Wide range of types, with light garlic and chile notes. My entree was arctic char, perfectly pan-fried in a bed of appropriate veggies that included... More

Great value and fabulous choices for this restaurant on the edge of fame. Not a new restaurant at all-just new to me and I'm not sure how I missed the reviews! Make reservations- hard to get in but worth it!

We had made reservations for a Saturday night and were seated right away. Pretty simple menu, which is ok with me. I had ordered the marinated mushrooms and the squid ink pasta. The squid ink pasta was pretty good but I wished it had come with some sort of meat in it. Service was just ok, nothing really stood out.... More

Just had dinner at Trattoria Corso before a visit to Berkeley Rep and was very favourably impressed. The eggplant involtini were very yummy, stuffed with good quality mozzarella and on a bed of excellent marinara sauce. Then the pasta --a name I'd never heard of starting with a "c" and about 8 characters long- shaped like a pot sticker and... More
