Best deep dish pizza around. Thin crust pizza is also pretty good. Great takeout option. They also have a good salad.

Their pizza is good but not as good as New York pizza! They have deep dish and thin crust. Lunch time is less busy than dinner time.

Zachary's on Solano is the fourth number on my speed dial after my immediate family. We always call for take out and our favorites are the deep dish bbq chicken and Good Health pizza with the wheat crust. The thin crust pizzas are also very good. Make sure if you call in that you are calling the correct location. (College... More

I am generally more a fan of thin crust New York Style Pizzas, such as at the Cheese Board, but I have to admit that Zachary's does a great job with the Deep Dish Pizzas. We love the Sausage, or Pepperoni and Black Olive, or Vegetarian (takes a bit longer for this one) Pizzas. Nice crust. The Sauce is good,... More

Well worth the detour off 80 for this deep dish pizza. Small dining room with child-made artwork on the walls. Pizza can be purchased by the slice, the whole pie or as half baked pizzas to go. Service was good and pizza pretty fantastic.

First off - we never sit down at Zachary's. We used to when the kids were little and I loved looking at the posters. They are brilliant. As a place to eat, it's fine. Cozy enough. But the salads are just nothing to write home about so just sitting for pizza isn't what we do. But, stuffed (deep dish) spinach... More

Zachary's has the very best Chicago-style deep dish pizza in the entire San Francisco area. It's as good as the deep dish pizza in Chicago -- and I used to live near the Windy City and eat pizza there frequently!. I've been to two of Zachary Pizza's locations -- on Solano Ave. and on College Ave. in the Rockridge area... More

Zachary's is a local institution for deep dish pizza in the bay area, simply the best deep dish we've had outside of Chicago. The deep dish pepperoni & black olive is our favorite, their classics are all great and the thin crust is also so good that sometimes we get both! Simply the best around and always quick and friendly... More

I'm from Chicago and I can honestly say Zachary's Pizza is true authentic Chicago Pizza!! It made our recent trip to California feel a little like home. It's a must try when visiting the Berkeley area!
