I am writing to compliment their plain dosa It is by far the best I've had in the Bay Area. There are some fancier restaurants in SF that claim to make good Dosa but in reality those restaurants are not as good nor as authentic as Viks when it comes to real Indian food. Cheap, clean, Yummy ! I really... More

My wife and I go to Vic’s often for lunch rather than dinner (since they close at 6 PM M-Th) and I habitually order more food than I should. You may have a wait in line to order, you sit at cafeteria-style metal-topped tables, the restaurant can be quite boisterous, you pick up your order or orders, and bus your... More

Vik's is a fun place for lunch. You can watch the good being prepared, which is always interesting. If you enjoy Indian food, Vik's is a must!

A true gem of an Indian restaurant providing a huge variety of delicacies. They also have a shop in the front selling Indian groceries. The have a great variety if Indian sweets which are very tempting. We ordered a whole bunch if smaller plates to taste more. Everything was incredible. Had a great time including the 5 year old kid.

We were drawn by the great reviews to try this eatery and we were underwhelmed. Having travelled in India and lovers of Indian food, Vik's had some winners and losers. The biggest loser was the lamb dish that was full, and I mean full, of bones. Large bones, medium size bones, and small bones. There were more bones than meat.... More

You can't miss with Viks if you're craving lipsmacking indian street food. It maybe tame for some FOB indians , but is great for most resident indians and other folk.

My go-to Indian restaurant for quality eats @ fair prices. Noisy and crowded but that all fades when you're eating Masala dosas with spaghetti squash mixed into the potatoes and peas, downing cool rose lassis and crunching on perfectly fried fresh fish. Drool.

Awesome place to have good from across the India. Choley Bhatoorey are the best. Lamb and chicken dishes are good. Try Fish pakora if you like something spicy.
