Very high end swanky restaurant. The food is always delicious and the service is next to none. Definently don't come here if you aren't willing to pay. It's a splurge, but worth every penny. Obviously the place was busy, with everyone extremely well dressed. .

Mr. Chow's is worth experiencing once but I wouldn't return. Tables are too close together, the atmosphere noisy and it's very overpriced. They are famous for their fresh noodles which they make table side which is worth ordering for the "show" value and the taste.

I've never been a huge fan of Chinese food. It's nearly always greasy, fatty and generally unhealthy in my opinion, and that's after eating at other places people have raved about. Mr Chow was different, by a long shot. The quality of everything speaks for itself and leaves you wanting more, and more. It's a larger space which has been... More

We were told we had to eat at Mr Chows while visiting LA. The restaurant is a little on the dark side which is not menu friendly. The service was very good and the food was also good but also very expensive for what it was as were the drinks. We had a nice time but I have had better... More

The most ordinary Chinese food I have ever tasted, around the world. Our local takeaway in England is substantially better. Luckily, we had booked for 7pm, so we had our table on arrival, unlike the poor people waiting for later tables. There must have been forty people, packed into the very small bar area, waiting for the earlier tables to... More

$17 for white rice should tell you everything. What a rip off! Noodles dish was 1 serving but charged $21

Very nice bartender who made our martnis perfectly. Two sections divided by supposedly the need to be seen/see section vs the quiet side. Food was good, decent portions, large variety. Traditional Chinese dishes with the Western twists. Not one Chinese staff member though in a Chinese venue. Had some magazine party that attracted a young crowd of 17 + year... More

The food is average, but you don'y go to Mr. Chow for the food so much as for the iconic Beverly Hills ambience, understated glamor, and low key Hollywood celebrities. The irish barman makes great cocktails, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and are also willing to be flexible and creative. At a certain point the chief chef appeared... More

One of my dear friends was visiting LA for business purposes, so we thought we would make a weekend of it and have a little holiday. On the Monday night we booked a table at Mr Chow with high expectations (after having visited the London branch on many occasions). The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the food and drinks on... More

Expensive as in no prices on the menu. The Duck is ridiculously good though as are the minced chicken appetizers. Lost a little luster in the celebrity department as of late, but still so;id, solid, solid...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
