BBQ chain restaurant with large portions. Came here on a Sunday for dinner with the fam, and previously have had fond memories of guzzling down mounds of meat. Plenty of parking (there’s a lot) and at 6:30 it wasn’t too crowded. We made the reservation via the website and despite searching for it by name, phone, and even showing the text confirmation - the hostess couldn’t find our reservation. They were unable to locate another party’s reservation as well, so not sure what was going on with their system. We ordered two feasts for two (for four of us) and that comes with a choice of an appetizer, entree with four St Lous and four babyback, half chicken, and choice of pulled pork or other meat, and a dessert. You can only pick an appetizer that has a half portion (like the pickles or rib tips) or can get either a soup or salad. You also get a choice of any two sides (get Mac and cheese). Some qualms aside from not locating our reservation - they didn’t have the BBQ sauces on our table like they used to, the rib tips appetizer was cold, and the quality has gone downhill in terms of the BBQ sauce and tenderness of the meat, and the fries were soggy. Also, the southern peach bread pudding could have used some cinnamon. Some positives - the waitress was nice and she came back to ask what dressing mom wanted since she was gone the first time around and checked in on us throughout the meal, they give you the hot towels at the end of the meal, and the snickers ice cream pie was yummy. Overall coming here is akin to having a meal at an Applebee’s with a BBQ focus. It’ll fill you up but it’s underwhelming.

This is a wonderful place if you want good food. Its right off the fwy and has a lot of parking spots. Depending on what time of day, the line can get long but its worth it. We've been here quite often with family and friends and seated all over the restaurant, every spot is fine unless you're particular. The food portions are massive, don't be surprised if you have to take it home. You have different choices of sauce to put on your food, they come in bottles. You can also order a side of ranch if you wanted them for your fries. Overall, this is a great place to get some great smokehouse food.

We had the pleasure of being served by Fernanda Gonzales on November 18, 2023. Regardless of the enormous crowd, and multiple guests to attend to, she made our experience warm and positive. You have a gem on your hands. She was very attentive and had a great personality. GIVE HER A RAISE!!!

Today is 11/11/2022, of which there were a lot of food specials/discounts and freebees for veterans. Lucille's advertised a "Complimentary personalized sized entre from selected menu, dine-in or take-out". I have eaten at Lucille's before and have enjoyed the food. Since being a veteran, and the price was right, I would try it again. When I was waited on, I informed the waitress that I was a veteran and asked her what was available and she said that she will be right back, she has to check with her manager, She told me that her manager told her the above is not correct but she can give me a sandwich for 20% off. I politely her no thank you and left. The above occurred in Boynton Beach, Florida at approximately 4:00 PM Is this how Lucille's get people inside their doors, "bait and switch?

Great food, nice experience. I thought the food was great, but nothing too special from other places. Our servers was great, sadly I don’t remember his name. I felt the host staff was not very professional and we almost left because of the host staff. They didn’t seem knowledgeable, one was on her phone, and they were not attentive.

My friends and I are forming a bi-weekly Happy Hour Group and thought Lucille's was a great spot to do so. In short, I will never return. The bathrooms were so disgusting they were unusable. It's not just that there wasn't any TP and that the space was a filthy mess, but there is a clear sewage problem. The stank was so bad we ended up leaving. This was the Brea location. I'll be filing a complaint with the Dept of Public Health.

My intelligence was insulted today as I dined on 1/22/23 in the afternoon with my family by the Manager Carlos. We were a party of 5 seated in a booth that would accommodate 5 people, yes maybe if you had small people or children. As my husband walked to the restroom he stopped a gentleman and asked for our waiter because we wanted to move to the table across from us because the booth was to small for us....HE TOLD MY HUSBAND WE COULD NOT MOVE TO ANOTHER TABLE BECAUSE THEY HAD ALREADY BROUGHT OUT OUR BEVERGES TO THE TABLE (which was 4 waters and one soda) he asked the guy to send over our waitress not knowing this guy was the manager. So the waitress comes over I asked her if we could move because we felt crowded in the booth. The waitress said sorry we can't move you because the beverages are on the table per the manager. Also, keep in mind the restaurant was not busy, so we asked to speak to the Mgr. and it's the same guy my husband asked in the beginning. He goes on with the same story and then told us THEY WOULD HAVE TO THROW AWAY ALL OUR BEVERGES AND WE WOULD HAVE GO BACK TO THE FRONT AND START ALL OVER AS NEW CUSTOMERS (Ridiculous)...Just to move to the table across from us that was empty and again the restaurant was not busy, there was several empty tables...So your saying this is your policy??? As paying customer this is very insulting, BECAUSE YOU CAN'T ACCOMMODATE ME BECAUSE WATER IS ON THE TABLE. Maybe I had dumb written on my face, because I eat out very often and have never ever experienced this kind of treatment. Who ever owns this franchise I want them to know if this is your policy it's unexceptable or you have a untrained Mgr making your restaurant look real bad. Where is the customer service? Have Lucille's gone this far where kindness and customer service doesn't count

HELLO I WENT to LUCILLES, the first time yesterday in TEMPE ARIZONA. I ordered carryout and was really disgusted regarding the poor quality of the food order. I ordered 5 big ribs, that they say are tender and meaty. I don't think so. The ones i received were very tough, with the membrane left on the ribs. They were neither meaty, nor tender, but the exact opposite. I also ORDERED A LARGE NACHOS with brisket. THAT was also awful. They say the brisket is piled on heavy. IN reality i found very very little brisket on the entire nachos. VERY LITTLE cheese. EVERY nacho WAS SUPER SOGGY. THIS was one of the worst experiences that i ever had with BARBQ. CMON LUCILLES, YOU GUYS GOTTA DO A WHOLE LOT BETTER THAN THIS

Once of our most regular restaurants. I rarely have anything bad to say about them. Pretty much this is the case now. But a barbecue place with NO BURNT ENDS? OK that isnt true. They just got rid of the burnt end appetizer which was one of my favorites. At our table this time, we had a (wife) bbq chicken salad. She said, " lettuce was soggy" to meh! (daugher in law) FULL RACK of baby backs; she is a big eater but I know her strategy here was all along to take half a rack home. She is no dummy. (my son) had the Big Smokestack Sandwich with an extra side of onion straws. He was very happy. I had fried catfish and shrimp. The fish, rather than being served as a large filet, how I enjoy it, was served in slightly larger than bite size chunchs where the fish and shrimp were indistinguishable from each other on the plate. I was disappointed, especially after not being able to order my burnt ends. I drank a founders breakfast stout served not cold enough; that was a one time selection for me and I enjoy stouts. The two kids each had cowboy boot size glasses of what I think were LUCILLE'S 20TH ANNIVERSARY HAZY IPA and wife Angie had Lucilles Blonde Ales and she was happy, finishing that huge glass. So like most visits where we move around the menu trying to find the special goodies on a menu, we were happy and not so happy. We waited a bit too long, but not really TOO long to sit. I will go back and again and again, but I will bug them every time until they return my burnt ends.

Long wait for a table, which is to be expected for a good restaurant on a Sunday night. The pulled pork was good and the sides were too. French fries and baked beans. We will go again.

Family late lunch/early dinner. We all had something different. My mother in law had the salmon and gave me a taste. It was really good and a rather big piece! I had a BBQ chicken sandwich, while others ordered the corn chowder, Tri-tip sandwich, and a seafood jambalaya. All were very good.

Had dinner here and was not impressed. The wine selection is sad. The meat was overcooked. The veggies were kinda blah. Disappointed-I expected more from this place.

Some items were slightly over done and too salty for my taste but overall it has ok food. The service is sometimes slow usually because it's always busy. I may be a little too critical of the food but only because I bbq quite a lot and can tell the difference between food that was properly prepared and what was just thrown together and sauced to death to cover up for its shortcomings. Sadly the majority of people have never really experienced really good bbq.
