Great selection of French inspired food in a beautiful setting. No credit cards and bring Euros if you can.

We stopped at this beach twice on this trip. My friends love this beach & I can see why. Friendly staff, good drinks & food. I had a few mixed drinks & a couple buckets of beer. I had a "big lolo" which was delicious & portion was very good size. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

Our 3rd trip to St Martin and Friars Bay Cafe is always on our list. We went 3X. Food and service are always top notch. Check out the specials too.

The food was okay (a bit overpriced) but the service was awful. The waiter acted like we were a nuisance. No chairs at our table, 2 pieces of bread brought for 6 people with no plates or butter, on and on we felt like we were a pain. Meal took forever to arrive.... Cost $160 for 3 adults and 3... More

We spent an afternoon at Friars Bay beach and had some drinks here. There is an inside bar and outside area to drink and dine. We did not stay for lunch but the menu looked inviting and unusual.

You should plan on over an hour for lunch here, as in keeping with French dining habits. The food is well prepared, service is good and you can try some French cuisine you may not be acquainted with. It is a bit on the expensive side for lunch but a good wine on vacation can be worth it!

Very tasty caribbean salad with fresh lobster. Was not happy with the service from the bartender Alex. He was very rude to my boyfriend he asked a question and he gave a rude response made us feel uncomfortable we didnt want a drink after that at all!!! Our waiter was amazing though very attentive didnt catch his name!

Friar's Bay is our favorite beach on the French side of SXM and the Friar's Bay Beach Cafe is without question the best restaurant/bar on the island. Always hopping, always hip and the menu is wonderful. March 2017 we were here 6 out of 9 days!

We ate here twice during our 2 week stay in St. Martin. Food and service were great. Lovely setting right on the beach.
