Some of best donut and bakery goods that you'll ever enjoy. Indoor and outdoor limited seating. Reasonable cost and beverages.

VG's is an institution in Cardiff, and offers outstanding donuts, cookies, muffins, cakes, and bread. While there is always a line out the door, the employees keep it moving. It is not a restaurant, as such, but a bakery.

Been here forever. Very popular with long lines going out the door weekend mornings. Donuts, cookies, and cakes.

We have ordered 3 cakes in the past, walk-in to buy cookies or a treat...Not good or barely just okay. Not impressed. Ralph's bakery is the best around! Trader Joe's, Stater Brother's better than V.G.

I've been coming to V.G. Donuts for 25 years, and it was legendary even back then. Often a line out the door, but it moves quickly. People having to decide which delicious treat to choose is probably what slows things down. All of the pastries are amazing, but particularly the bear claws!! They have a few tables outside, but basically... More

Try anything with chocolate (always high quality with good ingredients). Nice atmosphere, friendly family.

After conducting almost 45 years of intensive, hands on research into the matter, I have concluded there is no equal to VG Donuts. Move over, Krispy Kreme, Tim Horton and Dunkin' donuts!

I first came here over 40 years ago and just returned and its still there--still a great value and with some of the best donuts in the San Diego area. Out of way unless you are in north county area, but worth the trip.

I grew in Cardiff and this was the goto donut shop. Why? Because they truly make the best donuts I've ever had. I've been all over the U.S., to Canada and South America. No other donut shop has come close to the flavor of VG's. Why is this? It's because VGs uses real chocolate, maple syrup, sugar, butter in their... More

I cannot go past this fabulous old time bakery and not pick up a few treats. I am not a junk food or fast food person but these cookies and pastries are absolutely mouth watering. They taste like homemade goodness. Going there again today. If your going to waste the calories go for the good stuff!!!
