Sit down and enjoy the best pastries in the quaintest cutest bakery. Very conveniently located in the middle of the Camel Village, The Wild Goose feels like a family. Meet your neughbors and make new friends!

We decided to explore Carmel Valley Village since we had been staying at Carmel Valley Ranch. We loved the look of the village and stopped here for coffee. Very quirky place, very friendly staff and very good coffee.

The coffee here is probably the best in town. I visited this shop every day for the week that I was working there. Day 1 had an excellent kona, a Costa Rican & a French roast. By day 5 only the French roast was available. The atmosphere is very nice with delicious looking baked goods & art from local artists... More

Wild Goose has the best coffee in the Valley and the best freshly baked goods! They also have sandwiches and breakfast burritos, but their coffee and muffins are delicious!

Don't go there if you are in a hurry. But otherwise pastries are the best. Always fresh, from local organic produce. The best soups, sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Still quirky but that's what they do If you are in hurry go to Starbucks Go there for the coffee the baked goods and the humanity show Try talking to the rude dude! Deriding a local business when you live here isn't the best practice

I don't know if this is a locals only place, but I wanted to walk out as soon as I could. Counter person was talking to someone in the back the whole time I was ordering. Did not feel comfortable to ask about parties but I got a small cinnamon roll and small coffee for almost $8. Not a good... More

If you need an early breakfast in the Carmel Valley Village area, this is your spot. All of the bakery items are homemade, so if you go too early (before 8:00) several of the bakery specialties might not be ready. My husband loved the Kona coffee. Locally-run and short-staffed so don't go if in a hurry.

The coffee and coffee drinks are good. The baked items are good as well, not great, but good. The problem lies with the owner: if someone else helps you at the counter you are OK. The owner is grumpy and not friendly. If I am going to spend $$ on coffee, I will spend it where someone at least greets... More
