Always make a point to eat here when in the area. Casual eatery. I like the chowder and the fish and chips. Fish is fried crispy, but tender inside. Yum!

First stop on our visits to the Central Coast. It is a one of a kind small casual restaurant, owned and run by second and third generation locals! Fabulous food...fish tacos, both types of clam chowder, fish 'n chips...my vegan granddaughter loves their veggie burger!!! Fantastic location... right at the beach at the beginning of the wonderful Cayucos pier...incredible beach,... More

Ate and Duckies twice in 2 days. The menu was simple. Fried or grilled fish with fries or salad. And steamed clams. The place was pleasant and clean and the food was great and inexpensive. Very friendly crew. The shrimp Louie was perfect.

Every time we take a drive over to Cayucos Duckie's is usually our 1st stop. We love, love, love their fish tacos, such a great flavor and really quite large 2 tacos leaves my husband full & they have the most delicious clam chowder. My daughters love the shrimp & chips and chicken & fries (if you love garlic like... More

My wife and I had lunch on a weekday in the late afternoon. It was not real busy and we were served quickly. The chowder is just OK kind of pasty. The fish and chips OK also. The fish tacos were the best thing we had but they were not great either. Kind of a fast food place but with... More

Clam chowder is really good. Most of the other food is ok. We tried the onion rings, fish and chips, and shrimp and chips, again all ok.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch last Sunday. They weren't very busy, so we were able to order right away. They brought out my husbands fish and chips very quickly. I ordered clam chowder in a bread bowl. My husband had eaten half of his lunch before my chowder finally arrived. The fish and chips were fine, not... More

Our first day in Cayucos and we opted to eat at Duckie's as we walked back from the pier. The restaurant is open and airy with open storm windows and chairs and tables out front. We sat inside next to an open window and enjoyed the evening breeze. Hubby and I both ordered the New England Clam Chowder. I ordered... More

A just-off-beach operation, Duckie's is a small and very friendly restaurant. Right at the landing of the town pier, this is a very popular place that is overflowing with locals and even a few visitors. Overflowing on to the front sidewalk with umbrella-covered benches, Duckie's does a quick turnover seafood strong business. While visiting just after a beach-front lunch, we... More

Very friendly, personable staff. But the chowder is exemplary! And the garlic bread is made with real garlic! It was delicious!
