The music and food combination was incredibly amazing and joyful. Taste of food was 4.5/5 but very expensive

There are plenty of joints in California (and Chico) where they char a hunk of beef for ya and sling out a side of Ceasar salad, But, for me, ambience is everything in a place like this. I've worked with some of the best musicians in the wold (Frank Vignola, Tommy Emmanuel, etc,) and I can assure readers that guitarst... More

Known for their great steaks and side dishes are pretty good as well. If any downside it's high ceilings and bar close to the eating area for noise control.

Great atmosphere. Reminded me of an old-time Chicago or New York steakhouse, with a long bar and wood paneling. Service was impeccable. Extensive list of wines by the glass. My dining companion had the rib eye -- so tender and delicious! I had blackened salmon, perfectly cooked. Salad (Caesar) and vegetables were also good.

Make a reservation. Don't sit near the kitchen. Other than that all is good. Wonderful Ribeye steak my wife had filet. Both were excellent as were the baked potatoes. Expected more from creamed spinach but what do I know? Good time. Bar drinks are also good.

This is a pricey restaurant, but very worth it! We don't mind spending money on food, as long as it's great tasting! We didn't have reservations but that wasn't an issue for a Tuesday night. Service was excellent. Super fancy and low lighting was perfect for a date night

Went to 5th Street Steakhouse on a Friday night in early November. Got there around 6pm, was busy, but not crazy. By 7pm is was crazy busy. The food and drink is very expensive. Entree's are $25-$50 each, and that does not include soup or salad, just entrée and a side. 3 of use got various steaks, all were excellent.... More

Enjoyed a perfectly cooked Rib Eye steak with loaded baked potato. Added a side of mushrooms simmered in wine, butter and garlic for sharing. Pre-dinner we each had a bowl of creamy, thick, loaded with clams, chowder. Finished this all off with each couple sharing a Cream Brûlée. Left with enough leftovers for our meal the next day. (Senior appetites)... More
