This was a lunch stop on our trip to San Diego that we had to make based on other reviews. It didn't disappoint. The portions were huge (Cal. Burrito), the draft beer hit the spot, and the service was attentive. You may have to wait for a table or counter spot, but that bjust means it's the place to eat.

Luis is a one man wonder whipping up amazing meals in minutes while working solo. We stumbled upon this place early Sunday morning & every seat at the counter was filled we quickly discovered why. Great food generous portions & friendly quick service

Best breakfast in Coronado! The pancakes are huge. The fish tacos are outstanding. Two fish tacos are a meal! The location is excellent. I have been eating here since 1993.

We stopped for a quick lunch while visiting Coronado. It is very small with a few tables and counter service. It is not much to look at either. Just an old grill and nothing new. But what they make is wonderful. The fish tacos were the best we tasted in San Diego. Would go back here in an instant. Service... More

Delicious fresh fish, fresh vegetables, cooked to order with the friendliest of wait staff. Generous portions and very reasonable, almost unbelievable prices. Love this 'hole in the wall' and will return!

Had huge breakfast omelet's. We could have shared one and that would have been too much still. Great food in a little place, just what we were looking for!!

Referred by local resident. Did not disappoint. Cool small cafe. Friendly waiter and good food at cheap prices. After the beach a cool pick me up.

My husband had the breakfast burrito and I ordered the carnitas burrito. Tastiest burritos ever. Carnitas was seasoned just right and moist. Sit at their only outside table, enjoy a burrito, and lazily watch the world go by on Coronado Island.

I know when you thin "diner" you think greasy, but not the case here. Sure, you can get order some high-fat tastiness, but the menu has healthier options as well, Plus, the cook is very accommodating to special requests or dietary needs. We enjoyed breakfast here a few times during our five-day stay down the street. It's a tiny place,... More

What a great little hole in the wall place to eat! This was recommended to us by a cab driver and it did not disappoint. It is $2 tacos (fish, chicken, beef) from 2pm to 10pm every day. I ordered 2 fish tacos, and they were some of the best fish tacos I have ever had! We also ordered the... More
