I sat at the counter, and enjoyed a plate of machaca (beef and scrambled eggs) for breakfast. My plate arrived quickly, and the server kept my coffee cup full. The price was reasonable for Coronado. Frequented by many service personnel. If you arrive before 8...More

Looking over the breakfast menu, I noticed that in addition traditional American breakfast menu items that also had a selection of what I would call Mexican coffee shop cuisine. Items like breakfast burritos, huevos rancheros, chorizo & eggs etc. I ordered my favorite, chilaquiles. (Tortilla...More

The hugest omelettes on the planet!! Counter seats (about 12) make for an intimate meal with your neighbors. Just loved this place that dates back to 1929!

My daughter and I were on vacation on Coronado/SanDiego, this was our 4th place to eat breakfast. It was by far the best food, excellent service. Just watching the cook was entertainment. Small diner, wonderful. French toast was AMAZING!

There is only seating at the counter for a dozen people and a few tables outside. But it is worth trying to get a seat. The food is delicious and the service is great!

Just go..... simple as that. Its a small café, maybe holds 15-20 people mostly sat at the bar. We originally stopped in because the other breakfast place were busy with long lines. We loved our meal so much we came back several days later.

I totally agree with other reviews. This is a small hole in the wall, greasy spoon. There might be enough seating, inside, for 16-18 people. Most of the seats are at the counter, facing the grill, where you can watch the cook make your order....More

This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
