Located in the heart of Coronado, Night and Day Cafe may be small but the food is incredible!! Prices are very affordable. One guy cooks for everyone!! It's incredible to watch! Highly recommend next time you're on Coronado!!

Visited as a family of 5 around 11am on a Thursday and struggled to find seating for our family if 5, but picked up 3 seats at the bar, and a small table. There are a couple larger tables outside (for 4) but 2 tops, and a bar only inside. Food portions are very large! Should have split meals (would... More

This place defines hustle, great food and great service. There was only one guy doing everything when we first got there - cooking, taking orders, serving food, getting coffee and drinks, taking $, clearing the bar, cleaning up, EVERYTHING!! He was so efficient AND the food he prepared was over the top. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

From outside it didn't look like anything special, but once we got in - the service was excellent, the prices were more than affordable and the fish tacos were absolutely excellent! Crunchy cabbage, tasty tortillas, very well prepared fish and great sauce - this is exactly how best fish tacos are supposed to be!

This was a lunch stop on our trip to San Diego that we had to make based on other reviews. It didn't disappoint. The portions were huge (Cal. Burrito), the draft beer hit the spot, and the service was attentive. You may have to wait for a table or counter spot, but that bjust means it's the place to eat.

Luis is a one man wonder whipping up amazing meals in minutes while working solo. We stumbled upon this place early Sunday morning & every seat at the counter was filled we quickly discovered why. Great food generous portions & friendly quick service

Best breakfast in Coronado! The pancakes are huge. The fish tacos are outstanding. Two fish tacos are a meal! The location is excellent. I have been eating here since 1993.

We stopped for a quick lunch while visiting Coronado. It is very small with a few tables and counter service. It is not much to look at either. Just an old grill and nothing new. But what they make is wonderful. The fish tacos were the best we tasted in San Diego. Would go back here in an instant. Service... More

Delicious fresh fish, fresh vegetables, cooked to order with the friendliest of wait staff. Generous portions and very reasonable, almost unbelievable prices. Love this 'hole in the wall' and will return!

Had huge breakfast omelet's. We could have shared one and that would have been too much still. Great food in a little place, just what we were looking for!!

This is a small diner, that has been in business since 1929, the Esquer family has owned it since 1996, we have 20 seats and the counter surrounds a flat-top grill and vintage hood that was salvaged off a ship more than 100 years old. You watch your found being cooked by one person, depending on what cook you get your food will get to you fast or...not so fast but will always be delicious!. Weekend mornings are the busiest and we are open late, Friday and Saturday Nights till 4am.
