Went there for a social occasion. Very nice and the food was great. But the menu were steaks that sold for over a 125.00 dollars. I would have loved to taste one but I could not bring myself to pay that amount. The steak I had was good the salads were great the service was outstanding. All that said this... More

We went two couples. The steaks were perfect. The sides reminded me of cafeteria food. Not much flavor. Presentation was not up to standards that I would expect from this type of restaurant. Service was poor and substandard. We had our appetizers, finished and looked at the dishes and remaining bits of food. I counted 11 wait staff go by... More

Mastro's has a well deserved reputation as an excellent steakhouse, but it is very expensive and overpriced when compared to other comparable establishments in Orange County. The setting is upscale and the service very good, as would be expected at this caliber of restaurant. Wine list is very good, but a bit overpriced. Valet parking only. Bottom line, this is... More

This was on my bucket list before moving from Southern California. Where do i begin. Ordered the seafood tower with shrimp, lobster, and Dungeness crab. Shrimp and Lobster were very good. But the crab was amazing, and the presentation was the best thing about it. Had the PorterHouse, med and it was cooked to perfection. Cream Corn was excellent, Cesar... More

We went for a small bite at about 8:30 on a Sunday night. Had a seat at the bar and were greeted with great service from the bar tender. There was live music which was pleasant and not too loud. We shared the foie gras a petit filet and potatoes gratin (I said a small bite, not a lite one!)... More

Best filet I've had in years! Great ambiance and service. Makes Capital Grill look amateur. Find me an excuse to come back.....

Ok, food was good, mojito was awesome. Ambience was whatever. Ended up spending about $350 on our meal. Wasn't entirely impressed, sorry. I can make steak at home the same or better. We spent $500 at Guy Savoy in LV and left our table blown away! I'd rather shell out the extra $200 and be overwhelmed. But as I said,... More

Mastro's Steakhouse is one of the best steakhouses around. I can't believe I put this one off for so long. When you are asked if you want dark or light napkins upon sitting, you know a restaurant is high class and you're going to be in for a treat. Our server studied at le cordon bleu and was so knowledgeable... More

What was I thinking when I thought they would have any happy hour specials? Not so much. I decided to reward my assistant for a job well done and what better place to celebrate than Mastros as we work 2 blocks away. The bar area is great as it super dark and full of 60 something men with twenty somethings... More

This was our first visit to this restaurant which is located across the street from the Segerstrom Center for Performing Arts. While the food was absolutely delicious, the portions are VERY small and EVERYTHING is "a la carte." Also, this restaurant is far too expensive, especially considering restaurant alternatives, such as the Summit House Restaurant in Fullerton where the food... More
