The ford at Malmsmead is extremely interesting and worth a visit on its own. It is convenient to have a tearoom nearby with a range of teas, meals and drinks. The service was slow, but steady. The seating out on the grass proved to be...More

Called in for a cream tea after a walk in the Doone Valley. Scones fresh and warm with adequate jam & cream and reasonable value at £5.50

£7 for two tea cakes. A big let down of a place with no ambiance at all. Such a shame as the surroundings were wonderful. We won't be going again

A very wide range of cold and hot food and drinks. Situated by a ford and a 17th century humpbacked bridge.

Amazing food and service. Fantastic value for money - huge sandwich's served with side of crisps and coleslaw on georgous bread. Service from both chaps was faultless and friendly. If you are in the are you have to stop off here to eat!

We stopped off here as it looked like a picturesque place which it was but when we went to order food and drink there was hardly anything on the menu available. Plus we were told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. So,...More
