went because of American Airlines dinner connection, but no one at restaurant knew of this or how it worked. Service was slow with uncrowded restaurant and the food was marginal. Not nearly as good as several other Italian places in the same area. You can do better than this.

Fontana's is one of those all-around "okay" places. The food isn't terrible, but it's not really that memorable either. Pretty standard dishes. The service is usually okay, though sometimes it can be a little slow when they get busy. Considering the average food and ambiance, I'm not sure it's worth the prices they charge. I've been here on at least... More

I think Fontana's has one of the best, if not the best gnocchi's I've eaten. Excellent without being overpowering. I had to force myself to not eat the whole plate and save some to take home. Others at my table were also very pleased with their food. The service was excellent and efficient. Save room after dinner because the desserts... More

The food was very good and everyone finished their meals....which is a testament to how good it was. The service was very good and the ambience added to the enjoyment of the meal. Nice.......the only slight negative was that it is a little pricey.

Fonatana's is one of our go-to places before an event at the nearby Flint Center on the De Anza College campus. The food is consistently high quality and well-prepared. Try the Scalone--scallops made to taste like abalone so we can eat the delicious dish without guilt. The ambience is especially lovely. Service is quick so we can attend our events... More

Loved the two kinds of fresh bread served with mushrooms & spices in olive oil. I don't usually eat my whole entree, but couldn't resist all of the mushroom raviolis. A great lunch.

Had dinner here with friends. Been visiting this restaurant for at least 15 years. The decor is warm and comfortable, the staff is friendly and well informed and the food is always excellent. We had Brussels Sprouts and Bruschetta as appetizers and both were delicious. I had a Gorgonzola Salad next and it had crisp Romaine Lettuce and creamy chunks... More

A group of us (about 10) came here after work as we were all looking for a local Italian restaurant and it didn't disappoint. We sat right down and started to enjoy a glass of wine. The atmosphere was a little better than I expected for being a bigger place and was very clean and had a cool vibe to... More

I got here every year for our wedding anniversary (it's where my husband and I got engaged), and for other celebrations. Food and service and atmosphere always excellent.
