We come here often for the music and ambiance and highly recommend the experience. Breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is solid and the drinks are honest and if you're lucky you will catch a rising star playing when your there.

Food is excellent, service is over the top, location is perfect on a warm sunny day try sitting on the outside patio. Breakfast had many choices. We each ordered something different and all the dishes were amazing.

We shared a bagel with cream cheese, lox, capers, and onions ... they crisp the capers; I am not sure how they do that but love the difference it makes in the taste. The mimosas were fine and kept on coming and the enclosed patio in the sun was perfect.

I have had dinner at Zel's about a year ago and decided to try for breakfast this visit. Located right on Camino Del Mar, it is very convenient and although you are on the main street, the outside seating is enclosed. We ordered their basic 2 egg breakfast which came with tasty potatoes, bacon and toast. They also offer bottomless... More

I went on a saturday night for dinner at the bar and to hear live music. The food was great, I had the quinoa veggie burger which was excellent with a salad on the side which was surprisingly good. Live music was enjoyable, staff were great.

Zel's is perfect for drinks and snacks. The raw offerings and flat breads are terrific It's on the Main Street and offers patio and inside dining.

Good food & good call for groups. Polite servers and lively atmosphere for dinner. Open later than most restaurants in the area. Cool neighborhood vibe.

Their happy hour menu is probably one of the best values for this area. Went with family, and loved everything. Flat bread was excellent. Oysters awesome. Good ceviche. Calamari was alright. Cool patio , open mic night Sunday's. Great service!

I live in Del Mar so I get to experience all of the great local restaurants. Of all of the places in Del Mar I think Zel's is the best. They have great food / great drinks / great atmosphere, but best of all great people. Happy hour is great and the flat breads (pizzas) are awesome. Don't make a... More
