This is a great local Mexican restaurant. Service is good food is excellent. I love the steak Picado or the Chili Verde. The Shrimp cocktail is a meal in itselself served up Mexican style. Try it all with a strawberry margarita.

Paired with a trip to Cabot's Pueblo Museum this makes for a pleasant way to spend a few hours in Desert Hot Springs.

9 of us went for dinner. What a great time we had! We were made to feel very welcome, Cadillac margaritas all around, water without having to ask for it. Extensive menu, I chose a mixed plate of chicken taco & vegetarian burrito. Delicious! Our host - son of the owner I believe - was very attentive and made sure... More

It's ok food. There is not much choice in desert hot springs I think it's best to go to Palm Springs for the food selection.

This restaurant, recommended by our hotel (Miracle Springs Hotel up the road from here) had the best Mexican food I've ever eaten in a restaurant. The tortillas were homemade. I had corn tamales that were so good I wished I could have had ten more but couldn't have fit them in my stomach. The beans were wonderful also and nothing... More

Saw good reviews and decided to give it a chance with my husband. Had a burro and he had fajita. When he couldn't decide what kind he was offered the opportunity to mix ingredients. Was fantastic. We left stuffed but very happy

...but the food was about equal. It used to be good. We went to Zapopan the next night. Worse service but better food.

The reason this is the number one ranked in Desert Hot Springs is very evident one you enjoy dinner here. Greeted by the patriarch at the door. Quickly seated and fresh salsa and chips appear soon after. Delicious. Just the right amount of spiciness and chunkiness. We both had Chimicangas which are our favorite. I had shredded beef. So tender.... More

What I liked about this place is it had a menu for seniors, so you dont have to eat jumbo size meals. Also the margueritas were pretty good. My wife was'nt too pleased with the chicken dish she had but she's become a bit disillusioned with Mexican food in this part of the world.

Salad, soup, burrito is world class! Friendly staff, fast service! This explaines why most of the customers were regulars. If you are looking for tasty mexican food in the neighborhood, start here!
