Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

CPSH is our favorite dining experience in the valley because it is consistently excellent. The menu items are always high quality with delicious huge shrimp cocktails, New England Clam Chowder, Lobster a-la-carte if you want it, filet mignon, and coconut shrimp. My favorite dessert is...the white chocolate martini. Bon apetit.More

It started out great the expensive gargantuan hot n sour soup was the best. Then I was let down when I opened my chop suey—almost all sprouts and wAtety. Then husband eagerly opened his curry. It was yellow and boring . My almond chicken was...not edible. I threw it away. The only savior was pork fried riceMore

We had dinner at this restaurant Saturday night, and the customer service, atmosphere and food was great. There are many options on the menu with everything from Prime Steaks, Seafood to vegetarian. We all chose the Filet, which was bacon wrapped and cooked to perfection....Warm bread, Salad, and Baked Potato, french fries, or fresh vegetables are included. We also chose ides of Mushrooms and Shrimp Scampi and they were delicious.More

The main problem with a lot of these old Americanized chop suey houses is NOT that they offer inauthentic, watered-down Chinese food (although that is usually the case); the problem is that the food is often badly and lazily prepared, thrown together under the belief...that naive white folks will eat ANYTHING so long as it's smothered in enough sweet and sour sauce. This place in El Centro has all the old-school American'Chinese favorites, but makes a real effort to do them right. The result is some very tasty and plentiful food. We had the sizzling shrimp, chicken curry, and fried rice -- all of which were hot, plentiful and tasty. Service and atmosphere were also friendly and efficient. If this is a style of Chinese food you like, then China Palace does it quite well.More

An odd juxtaposition. An excellent formal Steak House with Lobster and excellent bar drinks and white cloth table service. Same building and kitchen serve a good Chinese restaurant

We always enjoy the China Palace Steak House. Their Filet is the best we've had anywhere!! We always enjoy the quiet here. I could do without the tv in the bar which is close to many of the table, but it is still a favorite...spot!More

Thus is one of the best Chinese restaurant's I've eaten at in year. Food is always hot and good. My favorite us shrimp fried rice and egg Foo yung, and it's finger licked good, I'm almost ready to order now!. There you can dine in,...or carry out, I do carry out cause I don't want others see me pigging out, lol. It's not the most attractive place, but if you want some good Asian style food, thus is the place., and their Mongolian Beef will make you bite your own finger, lol. So come try thus spot and yes, good food sometime take longer to make;)More

Just a typical Chinese food establishment, it was OK but I have had far better. Prices were average, portions were good sized, just did not float my boat very well.

We love coming here with a group of 6-8 & ordering a bunch of dishes to share. They have a couple big tables in the back that let the food circle around...NO ONE goes home hungry & everyone is happy with "most" of the choices....(Those unhappy are not that way because of the quality of the food - just that the ingredients may not have been what they'd order on their own. The service is always good & friendly.More
