When you first walk in it looks like a fast food restaurant. And the menu is kind of fast foodie. But the food overall was very fresh and very good. I definitely plan on coming there again it was a good place to stop for lunch. Oh and it's close to the freeway.

I went there today alone for a late lunch. When I walked into the restaurant the staff was congregated around the register where you place and pay for your order. They were talking and laughing so loudly I couldn't hear what the young lady taking my order was saying. As she was taking my order the manager came up to... More

Friend and I looked on TripAdvisor and found the Farmer Boys in El Centro. We went there for dinner on our way to Arizona. The hamburgers are excellent. My friend had fish and chips and they were also great. It is several blocks off I-8 Imperial off ramp. At the corner of Cruickshank. Recommended fast food type food service. Very... More

Burgers cooked to order and better than the big chains. Fries are good, too (second only to Five Guys). Salads are huge and tasty. Servers bring your order to your table. Friendly service. All-in-all, a good value. Oh, and if this makes any difference, while most burger chains serve Coca Cola products, Farmer Boys serves Pepsi products.

The food is outstanding for the type of restaurant. I especially like the optional vegetables as well as French Fires. I've also have had their salads -ample amount and fresh greens.

This store is like a cross between a Cracker Barrel (country-style decor) and a Culvers (good burgers and sides). The salads are HUGE by fast food standards, and you get lots of toppings and meat for the money. The husband loved the 1/3 lb burger, and the thousand island dressing (usually discarded by the hubs) was devoured. Not a cheap... More

The best of the best for hamburgers. More than Macs and in n out but well worth it. All items cooked to order. Good quality and service

We stopped here as a rest stop on our road trip. It was full of diners so we figured it was good. The staff was very friendly and our orders taken quickly. The young man that brought it to our table was very upbeat and a great representative of the diner! The food was very fresh and delicious, maybe a... More

For lunch, Farmer Boys in El Centro is an excellent choice, especially if you have a short time and have to get back to work. The place is always busy, mainly because the service is good and the food is a great value. We happen to enjoy the Cobb Salad, which is such a large portion, that we share it... More

We saw a billboard for Farmer Boys as we were looking for breakfast--thought it would be a non-chain, local, lots of pick-up trucks in the lot kind of place. It isn't. It is a chain in a mall parking lot. Layout strongly reminded me of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Ordering is at the counter, customer is given plastic number to put... More
