A very good location and a good for Italian pizza and calzone, salads and ice cream. Food is good but pricey, parking directly in front of the restaurant, service is friendly and fast, location is might a bit noisy. However food was good, definitely a place to come back to enjoy pizza.

Parking: Depending on when you go, the parking can be difficult. There's one parking lot for all of the stores in the area, but they've reduced the parking by at least 75% since they're building new offices and apartments. Emeryville is notorious for its difficult parking. Atmosphere: Large, open space in black, white and charcoal colors. A bit industrial and... More

This is a good place to visit for authentic Italian pizza and calzone, as well as salads, wine and beer. It's a bit pricey and quite noisy, with communal seating at benches, but it's good quality food and a fun atmosphere. Try the meat and cheese platter.

I was with 7 others and each of us ordered different items. All were of excellent quality....fresh greens, fresh vegetables, fresh meats and a thin pizza crust. I ordered a salad that also had the option to have pizza crust with it so if I wanted to make it a wrap, I could. In fact, most items were available as... More

This place reminded me of trendy pizza places back in Australian. Enjoyed the Italian flavour of food and having a drink whilst waiting for Pizzas. Kids scoffed the pizzas and asked to go back for more. A little pricey.

Quality thin crust pizza with minimal Italian style options. Good Gelato and brews. Salad too. Games are fun to watch here as the project up on the wall. Bikes hung on the walls everywhere. Coop spot. Sunday brunch is good too.

Ryan our server was superb! We were two old geezers in a very young atmosphere! Loved the pizza. I heard the Gelato was good but we didn't have room after the pizza. Will return there again on our next visit!

Since Hot Italian was highly reviewed, i had to try it on my next stop in OAK. I ordered the Bellucci pizza which came with fennel sausage, sauce, cheese, and fresh Ricotta cheese on top. Overall the pizza was good and the creamy ricotta on top added a unique flare. Many time's with thin pizzas the center of the crust... More
