Our third time at this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint, again. Food is good, and the experience great. For a real Mai Tai cocktail, as it was invented by the name sakes owner, order the Trader Vic's Mai Tai 1944. In my opinion, it puts all those tropical imposters to shame...

Trader Vic's Emeryville is one of our "must visit" restaurants in the Bay Area. We love the beef cho cho as an appetizer ($11.50). Add a 1944 Mai Tai to the order along with a side of peanut butter and crackers, and you are ready to relax and enjoy a great meal. The sea bass was outstanding ($32). It is... More

This restaurant brand has a great history, however some of the seating practices date back to the beginning of the restaurant, if you arrive 10 minutes before dinner seating officially begins you will be seated in the bar, which wouldn't be problem except chairs are low and it is difficult to find a place to set a drink. I would... More

Very pleasant atmosphere, beautiful spot on the water. The food is really fine. The service is perfect. Wonderful, old-fashioned restaurant with a terrific bar. Everybody should absolutely try a Mai Thai made in the "old way"..!!

This is flat out one of the greatest places ever. The bar at Trader Vic's always feels like home. Claudette and her team always make you feel like family and the Home Style Mai Tais are a hall of fame. Friends we take there love the Mai Tai sampler on the surfboard. The food is so delicious, the appetizer menu... More

We were a large group, so the menu was limited. The crab cakes were awesome, had fish, along with coconut ice cream, definitely worth it. Nice quaint restaurant, romantic setting for an evening dinner. Great venue for a large group as they were very accommodating.

We thought Trader Vic's was long gone. This restaurant on the water in Emeryville is quite good. The fish was delicious, and the fried rice dish with chicken and shrimp is enough for two. Also, a decent wine list.

This is my favorite restaurant! I love the theme. The food is excellent and the drinks are a blast. Fully staffed restaurant and bar with very attentive staff. I take my older kids here however I would not recommend it for families with younger kids that have a hard time sitting still. This is also a great date location! They... More
