The Mahi Mahi is outstanding, but whatever you get, there's no disappointment here! They specialize on using quality ingredients, leaning strongly toward all-natural, so anything on the menu is satisfying and delicious. Staff is mostly young, friendly folks who all seem to be having a good time. Recent expansion of semi-al fresco with heating towers has added a nice touch.... More

Ate here a few times during my stay! Had the Mahi Bowl, I've had the fish and shrimp tacos.... had them grilled and had them fried. Place is great! Seat yourself, get a number and they bring you your food.

I am not a huge fish lover, but the Mahe Mahe Fish sandwich is quite wonderful - everything is "just right" about it. A little farm lettuce, tomato, pickled red onions, a couple dabs of lemon aioli, and a generous portion of Mahe Mahe (nearly always overlapping the slightly toasted french roll). Yes, they have other good stuff here, but... More

We were searching out fish tacos and I came across Fish 101. When we walked up the line was extended beyond the building but it was vacation so we weren't in a rush. After ~30 minutes in line, we ordered a two different fish taco plates, fresh oysters, a special tostada, and a pitcher of kolsch. You seat yourself and... More

Great food and atmosphere. The fish is so fresh and reasonably priced. It's usually pretty busy but the line moves quickly.

We were on the East to West Coast travel day, so a bit tuckered out, but hungry. The tomato coconut soup was a delicious starter to bring us back to life! We also shared the kale caesar salad and mahi mahi fish tacos. Fresh, flavorful and perfect fare after a long day of travel! Service was friendly and suggestions spot... More

I was recommended this place from some friends up in Carlsbad. We went about 4:30 and that was perfect timing before the dinner rush came in. You stand in line to order and then sit somewhere. I enjoyed the grilled fish tacos and that was served with some of the best pico and salsa verde I've had. You will not... More

We've eaten here several times and the food is very consistent and really good. Overall, the food isn't amazing, necessarily. But, the quality is high, the selection will satisfy pretty much all people & moods, the ingredients & preparation choices are plentiful, and it fits the overall vibe of Encinitas and Leucadia perfectly. I will say that the ability to... More

This place is a casual family friendly restaurant with amazing food. The clam chowder was one of the best we have ever had. A great place for the whole family to relax and have fantastic seafood.
