The burger is to die for and a huge selection of wines -- try a fleet of either beer or wine. Service was a little slow and was a little pricey.

My two friends and I went here after a concert. I had one of their pizzas, which was very good and enough for two people. My one friend had a hamburger and truffle oil fries and she said both were excellent; however, my other friend had the Lasagna and was not happy with it as it had no taste or... More

Saturday mornings at Vinz for champagne and goat cheese stuffed phyllo dough. A perfect way to start our day. Thanks Ryan!

We have been here numerous times over the years. The location on Grand avenue is perfect. There is plenty of outdoor seating to people watch. Bar area is my favorite. Seating and tables are simple. Too many chairs at the bar, elbow to elbow if crowded. TV over at the bar. Good beer selection. Wine selection is average, but good... More

Vinz is know as a wine bar but they do have a full bar. the thing i like is the outside setting. Super place to meet friends and just hang out and get a bite. I like it best in the evenings, especially is something is going on in town, bestseats in Escondido.

Took my gf to Vinz for the 2nd time. The 1st time was great, but this time was just okay. We walked in from the S. Kalmia entrance and proceeded through the restaurant to outside tables on Grand Avenue. We were sitting for about 5 minutes without any acknowlegement from the waitstaff, so i went inside and grabbed a couple... More

The meal was quite good as usual. I guess because it was a busy night though, the service wasn't that great. And the staff seemed harried, although I noticed a few empty tables. I heard one customer ask if the muzak would be turned off as the band was warming up. Twice the singer had to ask to have it... More

While visiting Escondido we stopped at Vinz and sat on the patio. Great selection of beer and wine . Food was excellent . Recommending the Tuscan chicken salad and the Wagyu beef burger with Truffle fries

We ate here yesterday afternoon after exploring the area. I was immediately impressed with their beer menu, since it included Pliny the Elder in the bottle, a totally outstanding double IPA from the Russian River Brewing Company. I have had Pliny the Elder on draught several times at one of my favorite pubs in Northern California, but I have never... More

We are "regular's at Vinz, especially on Friday nights during the weekly Cruisin' Grand event (April - September). Make reservations ahead of time or go early as they fill up. It is very pleasant to eat outside on their patio on Grand Avenue. One of my favorites is the Maria Continental entree salad which is very fresh and healthy, but... More
