My wife and I were looking for a nice quiet spot for lunch. This was Trip Advisor's #1 restaurant in Eureka. It did not disappoint. We had two salads and a small brick oven pizza. My salad was a chopped Caesar my wife's was a grilled romain Caesar. Both were excellent. The pizza was a fig, bacon and goat cheese. The... More

Went because of TripAdvisor reviews, however, it was as though we were a bother to service staff. Waitress after seating us realized that we haven't even been given water after being there 15 minutes. Slow about 2 on a Wednesday afternoon. Pizza was good (too much crust in gluten free and sparse ingredients) and flavorful. Two Pizzas, two wines and... More

We've dined here a few times. The food has always been delicious and their menu features interesting and diverse ingredients. Unfortunately the food is overshadowed by poor service. Watching people receive their food well ahead of ours when they arrived 20 minutes after we did was disappointing; and I was concerned when our server spilled some of my beverage on... More

Not even close. Below average, overpriced fancy pizza joint. Want a great pizza? Try Live From NY or Miranda Cafe, NOT here. Want a first class culinary experience? Try the place that SHOULD be the #1 rated Eureka restaurant, 301. Really, TripAdvisor - might want to reassess your algorithms. Failed you this time.

While visiting family in Eureka we went to Brick & Fire for dinner. And as someone totally spoiled by amazing restaurants in the Bay Area I was blown away by Brick & Fire. The menu is diverse and they have a very nice wine list with recommended pairings. My brother had game hen, my sister-in-law had steak and I had... More

Asked if we had reservations when we arrived - we didn't and were treated like 2nd class citizens - although there were only 2 other diners. Server left us standing by the door until she put menus on a corner table and then walked away. She pointed to the table from across the room and said you can sit there.... More

They had a very small lunch menu and I believe they charge you for sharing a meal. A bit pricy for my wallet but the food was VERY good.

Food and service excellent. The mushroom cobbler was great. My husband had the kobe beef medium rare. Cooked perfectly and very tender. I had the pizza with cheese, fresh basil, and pine nuts. Both choices were wonderful.

Great food, great wine selection and staff was awesome. Reservations highly recommended, they get busy. Atmosphere was welcoming even though a small place. Prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend this place. Had dinner one night and went back the next night.

The grilled stuff calamari was good, the polenta lasagna was incredible, so many different and wonderful tastes and combinations. The brussel sprouts with winter squash, feta cheese and walnuts was to die for. Some things on the menu are a bit pricey, the Calamari could have been a little bigger for the price. You MUST have reservations this is a... More

Description
To just call Brick & Fire Bistro an Italian restaurant wouldn't quite describe it. The space is focused on our wood-fired brick oven - the 'cornerstone' of the kitchen. In it we do everything from bake breads & pizzas, roast lamb shanks & pork chops, and bake ziti and polenta lasagna! We have a wine list offering more than 25 wines by the glass, local beers on tap by Redwood Curtain Brewing, and comfortable, professional servers top off your experience. We love serving the food we love.
