I love this place. The food is good, esp their chili and cornbread. The service is good and my friends and I can take our time. My dog loves to sit near the big tree. Water bowls are provided. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon

This restaurant moved to a location under the redwood trees on highway 9. It has ok food but service is a problem. Long waits for food. Menu ranges from burgers, pulled pork sandwiches to steak and salads. Outdoor seating is diminished by flies that likely come from the nearby horse stable.

Loved visiting my brother and wife who live nearby. The food was fun - different. Love the corn bread. The yam appetizers were disappointing. Service super slow.

It's under the redwoods across from Henry Cowell Redwood State park. Food is very good with nice size portions. If it's nice you can eat outside on patio. The ribs and corn bread are my favorites - oh and good selection of beer!

My husband and I had dinner at Cowboy the first day in Felton, we spotted the place on our way to the campsite and is close by so after setting our camp we drove to. The atmosphere is informal and cozy, food delicious and service is top pf the line.

Friendly and attentive service and great selection of BBQ sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Parking lot available and restaurant very close to the state park. Outdoor patio seating is very inviting and relaxing. Will definitely go back.

I've been a fan from 1999. I had the spicy yams at the old location. New location I took my friends to last night. I had the Calamity Catherine- grilled sliced chicken, generous bacon bits, kidney beans, baby garbanzo beans, assorted organic lettuce. Carrot slices, onion slices. Raspberry vinagarette on the side. Comes with fresh hot cornbread. Had the Spicy Yam... More

We decided to visit the Cowboy Grill based on a friends recommendation. The restaurant has a wonderful setting with a fantastic outdoor patio area. The inside of the restaurant is rustically western in decor, fitting with its name and it's Felton location. We ordered burgers, ribs, and chicken. Ribs and chicken were very good. We had some problems with the... More

My initial reaction was positive. Outdoor sitting area was very appealing. It was noisy inside, so we requested outdoor sitting. We also thought we’d be seated quickly, as many tables appeared to be available. This was a faulty assumption. After a long wait they sat us inside and told us it was the first available table (while many others remained... More

Eat outside on the flower filled patio under a giant oak, surrounded by towering Redwoods. Take your dog! Have a "Broken Fence" (shaved steak, grilled onions, melted cheese sandwich),a dark draft beer and you will be in heaven! I didn't score 5 stars 'cuse service is slow. Truthfully, I didn't care... the scene was so beautiful and relaxing.
