We stopped here for dinner after exiting Yosemite Park. There are three restaurants to choose from. We are whole foods plant based eaters, so the Jackalope's menu was our best option. They will not serve from another restaurant's menu here, though the restaurants are all next to one another. It's too bad, though, because we really would have enjoyed being... More

Breakfast buffet: Food quality was just okay given they charge $20 per person. Their deli foods tend to be pricy as well. But hey, you're in paradise.

This place is a good spot to have dinner if staying at the Tenaya Lodge. The food is pretty good and our server was awesome. There was a pretty long wait around peak dinner hours, but the pagers can be taken anywhere on the property while you wait.

We visited the Jackalope Bar on New Years. I liked the décor, typical lodge style. Although they could crank up the heat a bit. It was too chilly. We ordered a mai tai and a lemon drop and they were both very good. Many times when you visit the bar inside a hotel, etc. the pour is on the weak... More

The first problem was particularly slow service. Dinner took forever, well over an hour. We ordered the tempura sweet potato appetizer but were told they were out of it. They suggested onion rings so we ordered that. About 20 minutes later (they hadn't started on our appetizer yet?) our waiter came back and said they were out of onion rings... More

The restaurant is nice... the wait staff is great. We ate there several times. The food is average to slightly above-- typical fare that you might expect. The menu had a pretty broad range of options. The Jackalope is the "cheaper" option of the three on site location at the lodge. Pricing itself was more than what's we'd pay at... More

We ate there one night. The food was not very good and it was very overpriced. The food was also over cooked.

Jackalope's offers "bar food" until you see the prices. Then you think, man this must be the most amazing bar food in the world. Food was good but way overpriced. My wife and son wanted to share a plate but there was a $5 charge to share. Ha ha. Really? Who does that? My son said I'm not really hungry... More

The food was nothing to write home about. Again, we gave this resort three chances to impress us somehow with their food offerings. It did nothing of the sort. Get some great chefs up there and turn it around. People are paying a lot of money to stay here. Should expect better cuisine and service.
