The hostess and waitress were very nice and gracious. But the food was just fair. The quesadilla was a tortilla with melted cheese on top, similar to what one of the kids would make in the toaster oven. The pinto beans were flavorless and the guacamole had little taste. I had heard that the restaurant is famous for its many... More

This has been our go to place for years. Closed Sunday / Monday, but open for dinner the rest of the week. The Opopo (sp?) salad is the best ever. I can't seem to order anything else. Husband likes the combo plates, which is a lot of good food. Looks a little "divey", but reasonable prices and good drinks. After... More

We stopped in for a night cap. The bar is small but friendly. The margaritas good. We have camped nearby many times and always wondered about the restaurant given the convenience of the location. Looking forward to going back and trying the food. Warning cash only.

Great food ...... Nice local atmosphere ...... Good prices .... Found this place at just the right time at the end of the day. After you eat take a walk out to Laguna Point on the boardwalk.

We've been to the Fort Bragg area many times, and finally made it to the Purple Rose. What were we waiting for??!! This was a truly delicious slice of Mexican eatery in Northern California. The fresh fish tacos--red snapper--were beautifully prepared and presented. My husband's combo plate was very filling and tasty. The tamale was huge, with lots of meaty... More

Visited with a group of ten due to the convenient location next to MacKericher State Park. Food tasted good, service was satisfactory. Prices? Seemed good until you see the small portions and then realize it costs an additional four bucks for a small scoop of rice & beans to go with that mediocre sized burrito. And the size of the... More

Good food, and very nice wait staff, but not memorable cuisine. They are only open Tuesday through Saturday.

Good tex-mex food but its the margaritas with a wide variety of tequila that keeps locals coming back week after week. Decent prices and good proximity to MacKerricher State Park.

We went there because we were camping at the state park and kept seeing this place. We are from Southern California so we are a bit spoiled with great Mexican grub. We loved their salsa!! Of course, you'll get it for free, but be prepared for its amazing flavors. I've had the Topopo salad, my husband had a combo plate.... More

Nice place, nice serving ladies, but very basic food. For the low price ok but would not recommend this one.
