Banana splits, hot fudge, sundae, or just ice cream in cup, Cowlicks is there to please. This is a favorite spot of my grand kids.

Locally made ice cream and sorbet with big flavors like Black Raspberry with Chocolate chunks, Root Beer Float, Mushroom, Ginger or Chocolate. Try a cone, sundae or milkshake. Rich, creamy and delicious.

Cowlick's has great homemade creamy ice cream. My favorite is just good ole Rocky Road. I've never had the nerve to try their Mushroom ice cream. They have generous portions and a Hot Fudge Sundae is my favorite to share. It's convenient, right on Main St and easily recognizable with bright yellow colors. The inside has plenty of seating. And... More

Very good ice cream made here. I recommend the mushroom cap ice cream. Don't knock it 'till you try it! Tastes like butter pecan. I've also had several other flavors and they've all been good.

The team here was really friendly and did take the time with us since we were asking questions/ dead giveaway we were visitors. They do offer tastings to help decide. What threw me off was their mushroom ice cream and what do you know it was their best! Inhaled it and danced on my stool as we people watched. My... More

Smooth, creamy, flavorful, what else could you ask for? I tried the black raspberry dark chocolate chunk. It was amazing.

While visiting in November (during Mendocino Beer & Mushroom festival) we knew we had to visit Cowlick's and sample the Mushroom ice cream. Got to taste but that was all, they were sold out of this popular flavor. The very kind young man working the counter scraped the barrel so to speak to let us have a tatse. Reminiscent of... More

This ice cream is delicious and the perfect treat on a warm afternoon! They have a variety of flavors, both traditional & non-traditional. My husband got the vanilla, but I opted to try the mushroom flavor! I know it sounds gross, but it was awesome! It has a sweet maple taste to it. Apparently the mushrooms only grow on this... More
