Paul's is a mom and pop coffee shop run by a retired Marine and spouse. When you enter the shop you will see all the military artifacts and uniforms. They really support the Military. I have been eating there for many months and I wonder why I have not written it up because the food is excellent as is the... More

Had the French toast breakfast. Very good meal. I would recommend Paul's to anyone looking for a good quick meal in a diner atmosphere.

A friend and I were attending a good friends memorial service in Newport Beach. Asked an employee at CVS and he recommended Paul's. In honor of two friends who recently passed we had the the SOS on military tray and the Hawaiin plate. Huge portions. Hot comfort food. Military decor. Worth the wait. Came back two days later with friends.... More

I've been coming here for years this place is amazing! I would always recommend trying their specials or their chicken fried chicken or chicken fried steak!

Came here after seeing it on TV. At the time, it was owned by a former Marine and was so themed. On future visits, it was evident that it went down hill fast. The restaurant is now run by other family members, and the change is good. I was in the area on a Monday morning, so decided to stop... More

I just finished meeting a friend for lunch but wound up ordering Paul's Special Omelette instead of a lunch item. Everyday breakfast menu is available during all business hours. I chose has browns over home fries with Rye toast. The omelette was a best ever item. sausage, well sautéed onions, cheese and sweet peppers combined to make it delicious. The... More

Lost a lot of respect for food network. Place is an outdated dive so that part is correct but food was horrible!

In a non-descript strip mall location (I don't think there are any windows), this is an old-time diner/greasy spoon, with a counter and booths and lots of military memorabilia on the walls. It has a certain authentic atmosphere, and it backs it up by serving good-size portions of solid American diner food (think chicken-fried steak).

First off, the food is amazing as is the staff! Saw this on DDD & my husband, a retired Marine, had to get the SOS & he lived it it! Not to mention they serve it on an actual chow hall tray! Everyone else's meals were tasty plus they are hefty portions. There is a section for each branch of... More
