Warning It's Italia will overwhelm your taste buds with amazing flavors. Try the breakfast pizza (served anytime of the day). This pizza is tastebuds having sex! Great thin crunchy crust, arugula, fried egg cooked medium, pancetta, and potatoes. I am a pizza addict and know...More

The restaurant was recommended by a local patron. The gourmet pizza and fresh salad went well with a nice bottle of wine. We highly recommend It's Italia for dining in or take out.

Cute little Italian place. The daily special was fettuccine/pesto, and it was super. Also had the wood fired Margarita pizza. It was good, but I've had a lot better pizza at Italian places. I'd just get the pasta next time.

This was everything we look for in a romantic, celebratory meal. Our server, Peter, was great, and the restaurant itself was set up like a fine dining restaurant should be. Their was always backup, tables were cleared promptly but not forcefully, the chef was running...More

Went to It's Italia for dinner last night. We started with a smoked burrata appetizer with a grilled peach, mostarda and crispy pancetta on a crouton--a great combination! We had a scallop pasta with 3 huge scallops surrounded by a roasted tomato pasta--the scallops were...More

The timing of our visit to Half Moon Bay allowed two of us a both late lunch and a dinner visit to It's Italia - revealing that the evening's dinner rush is a challenge. Happily, the food didn't suffer. Our lunch Flower Market pizza was...More

Description
It's Italia opened in 1997 as a San Francisco style trattoria and pizzeria serving gourmet pizzas, house pastas, and creative salads, always with a California Italian flavor, and a wine list of 10-12 varietals. Ten years later, our menu has expanded to include steak and seafood grilled specialties, artful antipasti, and a decadent array of housemade desserts from our pastry chef. Over 120 bottles line up on our wine list from Italy, California, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. As always, we have remained faithful to a local coastal California Italian cuisine, with its cosmopolitan nature, bringing produce and cheeses from local farms, meats and poultry from quality and organic growers, and seafood from a variety of waters. Most importantly, we are a little local community restaurant that serves locals. Lots of locals! Our advertising is mostly word of mouth. Our energy is inviting, positive, and friendly, and when you come in, you are invited to be part of our family.
