This is a place not to miss. The view, the food and the energy is great. From the Valley it could be a day trip, but an overnight stay might e nice.

Excellent food, outstanding service, and a site with quite a historical & racy history. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. I do recommend reservations since the dining room is of modest size. Ask for a window table. Comfortable feel to the restaurant and the bar area, which has several screens for sports viewing. We will definitely return on our... More

Miramar Beach Restaurant went out of their way to accommodate our group of 16 people (arranged ahead of time). The service and food was outstanding, as were the menu choices for the group to select from. They did a really first-rate job! Ample parking, outstanding views of the ocean, and fantastic food at affordable prices. What else could you ask... More

We started out indoors on a very busy Sunday. It was packed and very warm. So, we went outdoors, with the dog, sat around a firepit and watched the surf and rising tide. Wonderful! especially the sunset. Food is very good and a good selection of beer and wine. Service friendly.

Lovely music, awesome service with Maria even though very busy. Very big. Lots of tables that were too close to each other. We ate outside under heaters watching the waves. There were fire pit tables. My Chicken Piccata had a good sauce mixed with the rice but the chicken was dry. The steamed veggies was cooked perfectly by being slightly... More

Right on the water!! We were told we could eat on the patio with our dog. There were 3 other tables with well behaved dogs. Had fish tacos and chowder, both very good. Waiter said paella is a favorite. We stopped for lunch on a Monday. No waiting. Patio is blocked from wind so nice and toasty with a view... More

Lovely restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The wait stall was very friendly and the service was good. We were a large group and they did a good job getting all the orders to us. The clam chowder is wonderful.

We sat on the deck after being told there are minimums for sitting in the dining hall. Not sure what that meant. We were offered the bar or the deck. The deck turned out to be delightful. Great service. Warm with fireplaces going strong. And we loved the dog energy on the deck.

An historic building that apparently played an interesting part in the prohibition era. Food was good, service was good and the atmosphere was just plain fun!

The Historic Miramar Beach Restaurant & Bar has a long and colorful history going back more than 70 years. It was originally designed and built as a Prohibition speakeasy to serve the liquor smuggled into the Bay Area through a drop off point on Miramar Beach. We have kept the historical ambiance and decor of the 1920s including an incomparable collection of photos from the era. With only a frontage road between us and the beautiful Pacific Ocean, we have the number one view and sunset on the Coast side.
