Bravas Bar de Tapas, by owners of Willi's Seafood, furnishes a fine collection of Spanish dishes in "small dishes" which are surprisingly filling. Our favorite was Serrano Ham and Manchego, with the Serrano like small jalapenos as spice with the delicious ham and cheese. We also had very good sausage, spinach, Patatas, and Scallops, each with a Spanish approach. Service... More

Hungry after wine tasting, we found a warm welcome in this lovely tapas restaurant. The table near the fire took the chill off while we savored a delicious array of small plates. We enjoyed mushrooms in sherry, sliders with foise gras, tuna belly salad, shishito peppers with mini chorizo--and feeling adventurous--pig ears. All were wonderful!

Bravas is from the owners of Willi's, but with traditional Spanish tapas and dishes. It's located in a charming cottage a few blocks off the town square, worth the walk even on a very chilly night. We started with sangria de cava paired with manchego, other Spanish cheeses and chorizo. (I closed my eyes and felt like we were dining... More

Overall a good restaurant. My wife and I had lunch there on Christmas Eve. When we arrived, the only other people in the restaurant (we were there fifteen minutes after they opened) were a party of six. So you would think food would have come out fairly quickly, right? Wrong. It took forever. So long that we began to wonder... More

The service was great, the Sangria tasty and the food very good. This is a small place, especially when the patio seating is closed, so reservations are a must.

Bravas was recommended by locals, but not quite up to its reputation. Our waiter was engaged by his friends in the dining room, but we struggled to get his attention. Food generally good and proportions generous. Interestingly wine list.

We went here based upon tripadvisor ratings but were disappointed in both the food and service. There's a HUGE difference between #3 Baci and #5 Bravas. Bravas is a tapas restaurant, but the food came so fast that it is clearly not made to order---and it all came at once---anything but a leisurely meal. We were done in 10 minutes.... More

This is a fun place for Tapas. The front room has a fireplace for cold weather and there is a large patio in the back. Overall quality and service was really good. Lots of good choices -- II wanted to try everything. Especially good was the grilled squid and the chorizo and peppers.

Description
Bravas brings the flair and flavors of Spain to wine country. The menu features tapas and seasonal dishes served a la plancha-all with chef Mark Stark's signature twist. Bravas introduces Sonoma County's first "Ham and Cheese Bar," serving Spanish and local cheeses, Tortilla Espanola, and Iberico ham, sliced paper thin to order by a "Hamboner." Bravas offers a selection of local and Spanish wines, sangria and Spain-inspired cocktails. Dine indoors or out.
