Had a nice lunch, the special all-you-can-eat. Tried the PA roll with ponzu sauce and it was wonderful. The citrus notes of the ponzu really brought this preparation to life. I did not enjoy the tuna....a strange shade of pink which I have never seen before and no flavor. The udon noodle soup was very nice. It came with tender... More

I always loved Sushi Ray, and Max, the owner, was awesome. He watched my daughter grow up. Nicest guy, best sushi... Went to Sushi Ray tonight. Under new management. Or should I say, mismanagement? Worst sushi I have ever had, bar none. I've had better sushi at a Chinese or Korean buffet. I've had better sushi from the grocery store.... More

Used to be the best sushi in our area for value and taste. Max always went out of his way to source fresh fish and design innovative recipes. Now under new management, Max is gone, most of the sushi is gone, everything is basically pre-made California rolls with lousy tasteless toppings. The fish is BAD. Not just old, but spoiled.... Sushi Ray's is always where we go for that sushi goodness that we've been craving. Always a friendly atmosphere, food is fresh and quick to be prepared, and have never been left wanting. Love it!

Have eaten at loads of places like this all over the country. This is just average. Never been to hibachi place where I had to choose between soup or salad and then the price was high too. The waiter was gruff but our chef was awesome. The busser - from Haiti was great - he was professional courteous and super... More

I like that the owner is onsite, working to see that each guest has special treatment. The flaming BBQ roll is to die for....and a romantic flare to be shared by a couple. I love sitting at the Sushi Bar and watching each specialty being created. It gives me an opportunity to ask to try something that I've not had... More

Friendly atmosphere. All you can eat for $25. Most of the sushi is pretty standard, nothing extraordinary, but the fish is fresh. Some of the rolls are creative, and do try the mussels and the yellow tail. Yum. I'd say for a local all-you-can-eat joint, Sushi Ray is pretty darn good. Only open for dinner, though.
