Stopped in for soup as it was chilly that day. We ordered a bowl of Manhattan and a bowl of New England chowder. Both were at the top of the list.

The pan roast stews are the best! We had the lobster and the crab. Very rich and filling, but I would oder this again and again. The soft shell crab could be seasoned a bit more but delicious nontheless.

We picked Ritters after noticing the amazing aromas from their kitchen while walking by. We ordered their shrimp cocktail which came 5 large to an order, it was fantastic with a large dollop of horseradish to mix in as you desired. Also shared the shrimp scampi which came with noodles and a delicious sauce. Next day we tried the beignets... More

We went here because we were looking for a change from Mexican food or burgers and had really great meals. Pan roast chicken and sausage with shrimps as an extra came in a (not too) creamy tomato sauce and was delicious. The shrimp gumbo tasted exactly as we expected and was again delicious. Choose your own spice level is a... More

Im an HB local is this place by FAR is the best food in Huntington Beach. If you like 1st rate cajun grub then this is for you. The Jambalaya and Etouff'e is off the hook.

Surprised its not higher up on the rating scale. Great value for fresh, made in front of you, large portions. We went off peak so there wasn't a line but I could see how the wait might be long. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp, shrimp cocktail and shrimp pasta dish (do you see a trend). Clam chowder was good too.... More

Four of us just left Ritter's after a great meal. Small place but great food. Very casual, serves soft drinks, beer & wine. Two of us had the house gumbo which was fantastic, another had the bouillabaisse & the other the shrimp Diablo, both of which they raved about. The place had several tables and a bar you could sit... Saw this restaurant recommended when typing in ten best restaurants on Huntington Beach on trip advisor so my wife and I gave it a go. Food taste and presentation (in large white bowls) was good but portions were a bit large for us Brits - my wife's special was the best, my Jambalaya was a bit hot for me but... More

Based on previous reviews, we had dinner here last night. It was great. I asked our server what the most popular menu item: pan roast. I had the 'house' pan roast. Most, if not all items are served in a very large bowl. My choice was nothing short of wonderful. I chose a spice level of 4, out of 10;... More
