Like a 98 mph fastball, a great option if you have it !!! Today I had salmon croquettes, collard greens, candied yams, cornbread, muddy water(lemonade topped with iced tea) and a mimosa to wash it all down. Yummy!!!;-)

My wife, mom, brother and his wife were looking for a place to eat because we had to catch our plane out of LAX. My brother's wife pulled up the Tripadvisor app on her smartphone and several venues popped up. The Serving Spoon was one of them. Sunday brunch was in full effect and we waited maybe 20 minutes but... More

Delicious breakfast! I had fish and grits. My friend had French toast and chicken. The staff was very friendly and our waitress, Courtney, gave us great suggestions on the menu. Also try the cornbread on the grill. It was amazing!

On our way to the LAX airport having time and being hungry we decided to go eat breakfast nearby. Found this place (20 min wait) with friendly staff and plenty of good stuff: egg over-easy perfect, potates, all wheat toasted bread....even tasted the French toast ordered by others in our group : très bon !

This was a surprise highlight of my visit to L.A. My daughter took me here for an early lunch. We had to wait for a table but the servers were so friendly. We had a wonderful meal of chicken and waffles and grits. I could have sworn I was in the Deep South instead of Los Angeles! I'd love to... More

Driving into the parking lot we noticed a line of people patiently waiting. That is a sure sign of good food to come. The security guard gave a great suggestion that we took advantage of. We sat at the counter as the place was packed and we were glad to just get a seat. After ordering and a brief wait... More

Nice breakfast spot with down home Southern cooking and service. Nice gem off the beaten path in wonderful city of Inglewood. Chicken & Waffles, pancakes, grits, you name it they have and the flavor is outstanding! I will manage to work in a stop on future trips to LA.

The Serving Spoon is an excellent restaurant tucked in the midst of a blooming Inglewood community. The food is basic yet great, servers are always timely and very attentive to every customers needs and management makes sure no stone goes un-turned. It is also a great place to potentially see the whose who of Hollywood's A list.... If you are... More
