I love Bernardino's restaurant and will drive to Inyokern just to visit. The staff is warm and the food is always filling and delicious. I always run into many Inyokern locals there. The restaurant is a very old one, updated by the Bernardino family into a gem.

Not fancy, just good food, friendly service and homey. :) Fish Taco's are good. Friday night Prime Rib Buffet with your choice made in dining room of flour or corn tortillas. Yummo!

So we are staying in this ghost town, right? Next door is this amazing gem of a restaurant! Thank you Easter Jesus! I was so hungry, I would've eaten the floor. However, I didn't have to. The buffet was amazing!

We had the standard Mexican fare. Some tacos, beans, and rice. It was all pretty good, but there are better just a few miles away in Ridgecrest. If I lived here I would probably be a regular. But all in all it's just average.

Very good Mexican food. Not fancy but pleasant atmosphere. I had the vegetarian burrito both times which was excellent and very reasonably priced as an a la carte item. To my surprise it came with a very large spoonful sized portion of guacamole on the side which was also excellent. The complementary chips and salsa were both excellent as well.... More

We found the service to be really good. The food was average. We had the buffet. The prime rib was raw. I asked for medium and it came back over well done. So that wasn't great.

Don't be surprised at folks having a beer with their breakfast and a cowboy hat or two (including mine). Straight up old school American and Mexican breakfast offerings where they put chips and salsa on your table even at breakfast. I usually have the eggs over easy, hash browns crispy, bacon well done and sourdough toast with butter and jam.... More

Small town, rural area, building a little run down, didn't expect much. The servers were friendly, the food delicious, the portions generous. They make several salsas, from mild to hot, and all are delicious. Try the pico de gallo! They have various combinations and if you don't see what you want, just ask. Prices are very moderate. We don't hesitate... More

We always avoid chains and other ersatz food on the road and look for individually run family type places. This one was a real find. The location is just a couple miles off of US 395 on the way from L.A. area and Mammoth Lake, or even more directly, toward Ridgecrest and on to Death Valley, well worth a bit... More
