There aren't a whole lot of choices in Joshua Tree so we ended up eating at Crossroads Cafe a lot. Reasons why include the following: #1 they're usually open when you need to eat something, #2 the food is acceptable, #3 the service is pretty friendly,, #4 you can get something to eat in under an hour most of the... Had sandwiches after a busy day! Relaxing! Good service! We also picked up wraps for our lunch on our hike during the day. Perfect!

Spending a few days in the Palm Desert would not be complete without a meal at this restaurant. My friend, Sara, and I spent four days with her brother and his family. Her brother lives in Palm Springs and so we experienced some of its greatness before heading north to Yucca and Joshua Tree. I am so thankful to have... More

Staff is always amazing, food is great and just what you need before you head into the desert, coffee is good, fresh and hot. Crossroads is a staple that has been there since way before all the new places came to the area but is still clean and welcoming. Nostalgia! Don't forget to buy a coffee cup to take home...seriously,... More

We stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the food and quirky theme. The vegetarian chili and corn bread was delicious and my husband loved the veggie burger made of seitan.

This cute little place is a must stop on your way into the park. it;s literally a stones throw from Park Ave where the entrance to the park is located. That aside the staff is super friendly and helpful and the food was awesome! Try the Mike's Mess or the Corned Beef Hash if you are there for breakfast as... More

Who knew you could make gazpacho with watermelon? Easy to be at this place, good music, service, and food. Generous folks. Busy for breakfast but worth it. Great coffee and Quesadilla. Happy campers.

I get to Joshua Tree at least a few times a year and always stop into The Crossroads Café. The food is so good...breakfasts, in particular. Yeah, it's crowded, especially on weekends, but the wait is always worth it...and what's so bad about catching some high-desert sun while you wait? But even better than the food are the people who... We had breakfast and lunch here and had a great time! The ambience was awesome, as was the staff, and the food was delicious! I really liked my vegan quesadilla, and husband loved his breakfast burrito! Go!

Definitely the place to go for a great selection of sandwiches. I was skeptical, but the sandwiches were better than expected and the sides were fresh. We will be back.
