We were starving by the time we found The Silver Lake Cafe and coming in from Yosemite side we were not sure if there were any other stops until Lone PIne (there are!) so we made the decision to stand in the somewhat long queque. This place is tiny! But was worth the wait. Delicious breakfast with the best waffles!... More

Great breakfast with huge quantities of food. Not gourmet far, but outstanding eggs and pancakes. Popular, so get there early or expect a long wait. Gorgeous Aspen grove nearby.

This breakfast place had gotten wonderful reviews on Yelp, so we gave it a try on the way to Yosemite for the day. We had to wait a bit, which was fine for a Saturday. The initial server was curt, maybe because he was busy? The coffee was barely adequate, and the blueberry pancakes were average. The view of the... More

The silver lake resort is celebrating their 100 year anniversary. This is the place to rent a fishing motor boat as they are best priced and in great working order vs the boats in Mammoth. The store and cafe are very good. I have to mention their very clean bathrooms unusual for mountain retreats.

Just what you'd hope to find on a road in the mountains. I wish they were open for dinner! We had hearty and delicious breakfasts (I'd forgotten how much I like French Toast) and the menu has something for everyone. I'd definitely go back.

We have been staying at the RV Resort now for 7 days, which has been awesome place to relax. Close to Mamouth lakes, Yosemite national park.

My Husband and I were lucky enough to have an amazing breakfast here. We arrived 5 min to 7 and found a line at the door! The pancakes and omelettes are wonderful. The waitress was very attentive never had to wait for coffee or water. The place was full of fishermen and we got to see their fish pictures from... More

I always make a point of having breakfast here and the long lines are a testament to the excellent food, great service and enjoyable atmosphere. If you want to sit at the counter one can usually scoot in front of those who prefer to wait for a table. The wait is worth it as hot coffee is freely administered by... More
