Good high end Italian American dining in Downtown Leucadia ... The location right on the Old Highway 101 is nice and all the dishes were quite good. The Eggplant Parmesan was very good as was the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken ... however the cannolis for dessert left a lot to be desired with a watered down filling. For the... More

Love the ambieance of this resturant, they have inside or outside dinning. Great live piano bar, and pets are welcomed. We have the best server, totally Italian, and it complimented the course. The meal was FABULOUS! compliments to the chef, I recommend the Vodka pasta with Rock Shrimp, topped off with the Saviongeese wine!

I think the food here is good. It is a bit on the pricey side, but you can definitely find something for every palate. I was pleasantly surprised.

In spite of being near the beach on the strip of 101 in Leucadia, the tables have nice linens and there is a sort of old east coast flavor so can recommend for romantic, business or when you have something on your feet besides flip-flops dining. Staff can be a bit unctuous or snooty depending on your footwear I guess,... More

We've been to Vigilucci's in Carlsbad a few times but this was only our second visit at Vigilucci's in Leucadia. The first visit had been a couple of years ago before the renovation. On this visit we were told what the specials of the day were and they included a risotto with shrimp, clamari and mussels (no scallops, no lobster).... More

Vigilucci's is a great italian restaurant with excellent bar staff and dining ambiance. They offer a large menu and happy hour menu. We were with a party of 10 and had exceptional service. My wife had the Veal Parmesan with a Ceasar salad and both were exceptional. I had the Bolognese Linquine with meatballs... and it was exquisite... the meat... More

Since we live here it is so nice just to walk down to Vigilluccis! You can eat outside as well as inside. Never have had a bad meal. The service is great and the smell of Italian is in the air! Come and enjoy.

We found this restaurant not too far from the Econolodge where we stayed. It was not too far to walk and well worth to check it out. We had a Caesar salad and spaghetti with meat balls with dessert . They have a nice wine selection also .

Absolutely one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been. The meatballs melt in your mouth and the pasta is incredible. Lasagna and chicken parmigiana were enormous serving. Service top notch worth a visit if your on vacation as we were.

Thank Michael N
