This is a definite stop on any wine tasting visit to Lodi! They not only have some of the best wines in the region, but their small restaurant is not to be missed! Arrive early, enjoy a delicious lunch and don't skip the wines! We...More
I had been to Michael-David Winery about 10 years ago and was pleasantly surprised upon my return. They have expanded the winery and have a beautiful backyard patio/courtyard area. I went here with 4 other friends and we had a great time. We sat outside...More
There are two wine tasting rooms. One is in the same building as the restaurant and the other a few steps away. Both have different ambience. The second wine tasting room offers sit down areas. This is a must do in Lodi.
With their extensively updated outdoor venue, this winery is a must to spend an hour or two enjoying the Lodi countryside. Plenty of intimate seating areas and even a lot of activity areas for young children to explore and play. Bocce ball courts on site...More
Tried the locally sourced pork bratwurst sandwich and the chicken tortilla soup. Slices of fresh fuyu persimmons on the side, what a treat! Fresh local produce in the store. Cheerful staff. Good place right on Highway 12.
We had a late lunch here after a morning of exploring the consumers River reserve. Two people had the fish and pork taco plate that included plenty of rice and beans also. I had a half of a spinach salad and a Nother person had...More
Took my wife here for a birthday wine tasting. They offer private tastings on their lagoon patio and it is worth the price, and it is very reasonable. We did the reserve tasing flight and it was well worth the extra $5. Phillip who was...More
This is a great winery restaurant to visit. We really enjoyed our lunch here and the service was exceptionally good. After lunch, we did a wine tasting. Wonderful place to visit in Lodi area! Will definitely visit next time we are in the area.

I don't think so but check on-line or with your hotel in San Fran. I don't think it's worth going out of your way just to see this one winery. Most of the other wineries in Lodi are not set up for tourists yet as they are in other regions. They are open odd hours and very few have gift shops, restaurants, coffee shops etc. Michael & David is the only one that does have all these things so not worth the long trip just to visit it. You would be better off just buying a few bottles of M&D and having your own private tasting. We bought some in Costco that was $2-3 cheaper than the winery. They do make great wine :)
